“Wow, talk about in a nutshell,” Spencer joked. “There’s more to her, really.”

“Where’s the good parent, all the time?” Kyla asked.

“You tell me, the loyal fans need their fix of Danger,” the brunette said as she rolled her eyes.

“Oh my God!” Kyla exclaimed, “You’re Danger Davies’ daughter?! That’s so cool!” she gushed.

“Wow,” Ashley said, astonished. “Didn’t expect you to guess that.”

“Oh, please! How could I not?! I love Purple Venom!” Kyla’s eyes were wide in amazement.

“Didn’t expect that either…” the brunette trailed off.

Spencer leaned over and whispered in Ashley’s ear, “Toldja she’s hyper.”

Ashley stifled a giggle as she nodded.

“So, are you two going out?” Kyla motioned between Aiden and Ashley.

Aiden burst out in laughter as Ashley’s eyes widened in slight horror, “Ew, gross, no!” she shook her head frantically.

“Yeah,” the jock said as he took a breath between laughs. “Ashley, here, plays for the other team.”

The brunette scoffed, “Well thanks, Aid! You just totally outed me!”

“Whoa!” Kyla’s mouth dropped, “You’re gay?!” Ashley nodded, “That’s so cool! I’ve always wondered what it would be like to be gay. Quick, kiss me!” she lunged over the table to Ashley.

Ashley practically jumped into Spencer’s lap as she wrapped her arms around her neck to get away from the hyper brunette, “Yeesh!”

“Choking, not breathing!” Spencer gasped as she shoved the brunette back into her seat.

By this time, Aiden has his head on the table as he gasped for breaths betweens laughs.

“Fine,” Kyla put her hands up, “Miss out on this,” she pointed to herself. “So, are you two together, then?” she was now asking about Spencer and Aiden.

“Huh uh,” Spencer shook her head.

“Are you gay, too?!” That sugar had really done a number on the small girl.

“Oh, uh…er…” the blonde stuttered.

“Spencer’s not into labels.” Ashley cut in for her. Spencer whipped her head to look at the brunette for a silent thanks.

“So, you’re alone then, are you?” Kyla eyed Aiden.

“Technically,” he practically squeaked.

“Yeah, after he dumps the cheer-breeder,” Ashley said blandly.

“I was about to!” the jock yelled.

“Yeah, uh huh.” Spencer mocked.

The foursome spent the next hour chatting and getting to know the newcomer. Kyla seemed to fit in well with the crowd, and they seemed to like her personality…no matter how hyper she seemed to be. Aiden especially took a liking to the new girl. He had to keep his reputation of going for the new girls in tact. Hell, maybe he wouldn’t end up turning this one gay.

After they’d paid the bill and gone outside to the parking lot, they said their goodbyes. They split up to their cars and headed out.

Spencer was never really a fan of driving, but it was nice to throw it in now and again. She was used to being chauffeured around, so it was always an adventure for her to be able to get behind the wheel.

The first few minutes were spent in a small silence between the blonde and Kyla, but then they started chatting about this and that. However they soon grew quiet, again.

“So…” Kyla trailed off. She was about to go out on a whim, but she knew she was right. “How long have you and Ashley been together?”

Spencer’s eyes widened, as she turned to look at the girl in shock.
