Aiden and Ashley were seated in a booth at a coffee house on the boulevard, waiting for Spencer and Kyla. The two had yet to run into the new comer, but the blonde insisted that they meet.

Spencer had taken the liberty of showing Kyla the ways of King High since meeting her two days prior. Well, on the days that she wasn’t stuck in ISS (In School Suspension) with Ashley for their mishap in class and with the campus force. They were let off easy for God knows what reason, and Spencer had told her dad flat out what happened. He found it somewhat amusing, so he promised not to tell Paula.

Now, here sat the jock and the brunette, waiting, not so patiently, to meet this random girl Spencer ran into…literally.

"Where the hell are they?" Aiden groaned looking at his watch.

Ashley was busy stacking up the creamers into a pyramid, to pay attention to him. When she was done she looked at her creation with pride. She picked up two coffee stirrers and held them in her hands on the table top, so it would look like they were talking. She changed her voice into a high pitched squeak, "Oh, look how wonderful our pyramid is! Nothing could destroy this amazing architecture. What’s that? Oh, no! It’s the giant sexy brunette!" she crumbled the stirrers in her hands, "Ahh! Nooo!" she deepened her voice "Fee fi fo fum…I’m bored as hell!" she swatted the pyramid, sending creamers everywhere. "Ahaha!"

The jock stared at her in shock and amusement, "And that’s what we call extreme boredom, Ladies and Gents!" he laughed in spite of himself.

"Shut up, Aiden, there’s nothing better to do." Ashley put her chin on the table and looked up at the jock.

"How are they getting here, anyway?"

“Spencer’s driving,” the brunette stated nonchalantly.

“Whoa, hold up, Spence can drive?” Aiden asked astonished.

Ashley picked her head up from the table and nodded, “Always has been able to. She just doesn’t have a car of her own, and I drive her everywhere, so there wasn’t really a need.”

The jock raised a single brow, “Well, that’s interesting. Maybe they got lost?” he suggested.

Ashley waved off his statement, “Nah. I went over the directions with her like a thousand times.”
