    “I was just a bit freaked out and I panicked. I’ll be fine. Just please take me home, okay?” Pleaded the blonde following Ashley to her feet and placing a hand on the girl’s arm. Their eyes met and Spencer wore as genuine a smile she could muster, trying to reassure the brunette, “Ashley. I am going to be fine.”

    “Will you call me later and let me know your okay?” Ashley questioned, hating how much she obviously cared about a girl who’d probably never be able to love her back.

    “I promise.” Agreed Spencer, her smile widening momentarily before she turned away and climbed into the passenger seat. Ashley hesitated, that twisted feeling in her abdomen demanding she pay attention. But, what could she do? Spencer wasn’t her girlfriend and this guy was her husband. She couldn’t exactly force her to stay so her only choice was to do as the girl asked and take her home.

    They didn’t speak much the drive back, both of their minds too occupied to make successful small talk. Ashley spent most of her brainpower trying to invent a really good reason to make Spencer stay. Spencer thought mostly about how she was going to explain herself to Nick. When they finally did arrive at the unassuming grey home the pair stared up at the house with dread, both wishing Spencer didn‘t have to go inside.

    “You’re sure you don’t want to just give him a few days to cool down? You could stay with me….” During the entire 3-hour drive home that was the best that Ashley had been able to come up with.

    “I can’t. Thank you for everything Ashley, I’ll call you.” Spencer then forced herself to get out of the car and walk up the sidewalk to her front door. She glanced back at Ashley before she headed inside, her face pale and eyes huge. She looked utterly terrified, and it took everything in Ashley’s power to not march right after her. She stayed parked where she was for another 10 minutes, listening for yells and waiting to see if Spencer came running back outside. But, there was no shouting to be heard and no sign of the blonde, so eventually the brunette did pull away and head back to her apartment.

    1. Ok and that’s why men stink!! Always so damn possesive with them women, yes she’s married blah blah blah but doesn’t that jerk know that Ash and Spence are destined to be together? lol Anyways I’m loving this story alot and things are probably gonna get aliitle more intense in the next chapter! PMS! Good Job!
