    My One Special One – Chapter 28

    Previously…

     

    A scorned woman may be filled with a fury hotter than hell, but a man who does not want to let go will take that fury to otherwise unreachable heights.  John Braxton was a man filled with enough fury to reach any height, but he was not foolish enough to let his anger make decisions…or so he once thought. 

     

    The ramblings of this scorned man continued through the night as he lay upon the rich Egyptian cotton sheets in his very expensive hotel suite.

     

     

     

    “I need to see her.  There’s no way I can go back to her apartment.  You owe me, you freakin’ pothead – and I know you’re way beyond pot at this point – so you’re most likely going to need me again.”

     

    “Look, I can’t risk anything either.  Come on, give me a break.  I got you all the other info on her.  Why the hell do you want her anyway, she’s a freakin’ Lezzie now…”

     

    “Shut the fuck up.  Find a way or the wrong people may find out how you really make a living…”

     

    “For Christ’s sake, John…”

     

    “Just fucking do something!” John barked so loud he hurt his own ears. “GOD DAMN IT TO HELL.” 

     

     He stomped around his hotel room for a few minutes; then headed for the hotel’s bar.  His good friend Jack Daniels would take him through tomorrow and this weekend.   Monday…Monday…she’ll be out and about…I’ll make her see me then…I’ll make her understand…

     

    John Braxton was unraveling.

    Fuck him.  Enough is enough.  I’ve got a good thing going here.  Yeah, he got me out of a few jams.  I think he’s losing it.  This is so unlike him to be so nuts about some broad…Let him work it out himself.  What’s he going to do, kill me?

    John opened his eyes and immediately squeezed them shut.  His head felt like it was in a vice.  It was one Jack Daniels too much last night, but his bladder didn’t care how his head felt and he had to get to the bathroom.

    2. I knew Sam was a woman…I was wondering where this story went to. If I was Tina I would have someone tailing me at all times in case that nut job tried to do anything.

    4. Tina’s coming out to her mother brought back all of Ann’s dreams of her own female lover. Ann is lucky that Sam is still very much in love with her. Hopefully Ann will get a chance to help Tina out with getting rid of John once an for all. This trail needs to end soon so that Bette and Tina can begin to live without the fear of being hurt of killed. They need that TLC to strengthen their love for one another.

Love it to bits as Bette and Tina try to exclude the outside worl while it keeps interferring with their lives. Brilliant plotting and dialogue rattle along at a break-neck pace. Fabulous. I thought, okay, we’re gonna be led around for a while before being revealed if it’s a he or a she. So thank you for not making us wait too long. I hope those two will be involved into the whole mystery (in a good way of course), and i’m so looking forward to Tina finding out about her mom! And please, more of B&T loving… PPS
