    Love Revisited – Coming Home Part 72

    Love Revisited – Coming Home   Part 72

    Previously

    but Susan LaFay had to make good on the real reason she came out to California before she could begin thinking of packing her bags to go back home.

    She made the trek down to the convenience store to use the phone.  How many more phone calls?  Hard to say.  This is going to be a one shot deal when it happens.  Better to be patient and get the job done right than rush and fall through the ice.  And she wanted to please her and make sure she knew that Susan was keeping her end of the bargain.

    * * *

    Dawn felt relieved and hopeful when she ended the call with Susan.  Her mind told her to have no expectations; her heart, however, wanted only one thing – Susan.

    She had heard about the affairs.  Those kinds of things don’t stay secret along the ***** grapevine.  Dawn was hurt that Susan had been with others, but when she heard of the number of affairs there had been, she knew this had nothing to do about love for these women; Susan was escaping into the world of near anonymous *****.

    Dawn knew in the ten years they were together that often times certain ‘business’ events arose that Susan could not talk about until they were completed.  That’s why she didn’t push for the reason she was in California.

    Although hopeful about their reconnecting, Dawn couldn’t help but feel some fear for Susan and what she needed to get done in California.  Christ, I don’t even know where in California she is – and I don’t know that she’ll tell me.  And really, why California? Her business had never taken her across country before.

    Let it be, Dawn.  At least the path for us to talk to one another is clear.

    * * *

    Sitting on the bench under the tree once again, she thought of the future deed and whether or not she would have the guts to pull it off.  The anger was beginning to subside.  At one point the thought crept in as to whether the anger was misdirected – bullshit, she started the ball rolling so she is the one who needs to pay.  She knew her schedule now; there wasn’t much deviation.  It didn’t matter if there were changes because she had been able to follow her everywhere, and she never even knew someone was tailing her.

    1. Arce,

      Intrigue and mystery at the start. Was this Helena checking up on Susan or is there more devilment occurring here.

      The plotting is perfectly balanced like a Sushi chef preparing the ingredients. Each cleaver stroke is delicately calculated and completed effortlessly without wasted effort. I feel that you as poised to let loose the drama and can’t wait.

      The insight into Tina psyche was bewitching. She is intoxicated by Bette. This yearning is unfettered by any rationale thought. This ardent desire consumes the very essence of Tina; she is a cat with singed and scorched fur from craving the warmth of the open flame.

      I marvel at the majesty with which you have evocatively and emotively established this scene. The path of true love may be wrought with danger but also wonder and awe and passion.

      I need time to revel in this brilliance and reflect on the beauty of their love and sentiments.

      Thank you for this tremendous and torturous tale.

      I will be here waiting and watching for your next instalment.

      Much thanks,
      Your Loyal Fan.

    2. im in heaven. that was so beautifully written. its palpable how your write their love. rc thanks so much. and i know you will be protecting our girls. thanks.

    3. come on alice…dig some dirt on this susan…love this and i know you will protect them… they are meant for each other… maybe this dawn can talk some sense into susan… please post soon

    4. Folks, I hate to break it to you, but I think that last sexy monologue was a stalker doing herself and imaging she was with Bette.

      Author? Am I right? Sick, I thought, and scary!

    5. techgal: I thought the stalker(Susan) was going after Tina?? Is there indeed a different stalker? I must back track my reading to make sure I didn’t miss that. Yikes!! If it is indeed someone imagining themselves with Bette like that – creepy storyline but, can’t say I’m not guilty of that a bit myself -hee,hee.

    6. That wasn’t sex; That was pure love. They are drunk on each other love. Maybe our Alice will keep on digging on Susan, Maybe Susan ex will try to talk Susan into not doing what she is trying to do. Start digging Alice/. thanks

    7. I’m with AmandaMG and bettyvhall right here; Alice is the one that can find anything on anyone. Dig deeper Alice, this is just the beginning. And this comment by BVH “That wasn’t sex; That was pure love. They are drunk on each other love.” I couldnt agree more.
