Bette usually did not talk to people about her feelings. She held them inside, not letting anyone see her weakness. The only person who sometimes got her to talk was her sister. But with Tina Bette felt that she could talk about everything. It was so easy. And she felt that no matter what they talked about, Tina would understand. It was so good to get all her feelings about the art class out. Just talking about it to Tina made it better.

“I agree with you. I changed my life when I became a teacher. I followed my dream.  And I am so sorry that somebody is stopping yours. I also think that we need some challenge in life. Going on in the same routine everyday is not good. We need to get challenged, make changes. Sometimes we fail but that will only make us stronger. I don’t think that we will move anywhere if we don’t follow our dreams. I followed mine and now I am teaching at a great school and on a date with a beautiful woman.”

“Maybe I can take you with me to the board and you could give them that speech, but maybe not say anything about the date” Bette said with a smile.

“If that will make them change their minds, you can count on me. And for the record. If you need any help in this, just ask.”

“Thanks Tina. I really appreciate it. And thanks for talking to me about it. I am not used to talk about my problems with anyone. Usually I am the one that helps out my students with problems. But you know what? Let’s continue our date without any more school talk.

    “I agree” Tina replied.

“Maybe we should let our lips take over the conversation?” She continued and leaned over the table and gave Bette a quick kiss on the lips.

“I really like where this conversation is going” Bette said and captured Tina`s lips again. This time the kiss lasted a little longer.

Tina pulled back and sat down on her chair.

“I think we should continue this conversation somewhere else. And I think you said something about dessert” Bette said .

    2. I’m so glad you’ve updated! I was missing it….I needed some cute, tibette love!! I love this….and look forward to more…with a SMILE on my FACE!! Thank you!!

    3. I’m loving this story. I have to agree with emilythestrang3 and Vegas513 – I myself am writing a story where Bette and Tina are separated so it’s nice to read a cute new beginnings TiBette tale where they get a fresh start. You are doing a great job with this one. I love the whole ‘lips’ thing. PPS

    4. Oh Miss LillyAnn, that should have been Rated ‘H’ for hot. I’ll bet the song ‘Walk on by’ by Isaac Hayes was playing in their heads LOL As far as the rating goes most of what you’ve been posting has been between PG-13 and R, more towards PG-13 actually. If you’re not sure ‘R’ is always a safe bet, but you rate it however you see fit my fanfic friend. Thank you for the beautiful/hot post.

    5. Certainly glad this is a positive TiBette story for a new beginning. Vegas and Emilythestrange were also right in that some of the stories are hating TiBette at the moment and it is enough to make you sick to your stomach. Hope this one stays just for Tina and Bette and not involving joBette, helBette or anyotherBette, pretty please. This Bette is different in that she is talking to someone about what is bothering her and that is the new teacher coming in to teach the art classes. Too bad the school board has not talked to Bette about the classes and her credentials for teaching the classes. They may just find that they didn’t have to hire someone else and that Bette is fully qualified to teach art, which is probably the case. At least Tina is there to listen to her and to just be with her. Never heard of a song or dance called “evacuate the dance floor” that is a new fun one for me. Is that really a song? When the description of what was happening on the dance floor, Bette getting hit in the head and elbowed in the back, I thought it might have been Alice doing those things to her. Dessert coming up and no spiked brownies in sight. Great update. Thanks for posting.
