    Kinda/sorta Halloween (for arkaycee)

    "Sorry if we were being loud, Ms. Porter," Tony said.

    "No, it’s alright. But it looked like you two were high on something."

    Andy laughed, "No, we’re not high. We were just dancing to this song. It’s from a really popular flash video and I’m using Halloween images to set to the music for one of my art projects."

    "Oh, okay. Have fun…and try not to hurt yourselves," Bette laughed.

    "Okay, Ms. Porter!" Andy and Tony said.

    Bette walked to the bathroom while shaking her head. ‘These kids and their internet…’

    A few days later at The Planet…

    "Al, how many more times are you gonna watch that damn video?"

    "Come on, Shane, it’s funny! Look at that banana go!"

    Shane was trying not to smile. "Okay, so it’s cute. But you’ve watched that probably twenty times already. Hasn’t it gotten old yet?"

    "’Peanut Butter Jelly Time’ will NEVER get old. Someone even came up with dance moves. Look." Alice got up and started moving from side to side.

    "See, you’re like peanut butter. You get spread from side to side. And here you use your hands like you’re spreading the peanut butter. Try it, Shane! It’s fun!"

    No one was really paying any attention to their table yet Shane still felt self-conscious about getting up and shaking her ass in front of strangers.

    "Uh, no thanks, Al. I’ll just watch."

    "Too embarrassed to be peanut butter? Okay, you can be jelly then!"

    "Jelly???"

    "Yeah! Jelly jiggles, so you jiggle around from side to side like you’re being spread over the bread."

    Shane was very intrigued, yet there was no way in hell she was going to be jelly in public.

    "Okay I’ll be peanut butter!" Shane said as she jumped up and started dancing while Alice kept doing the jelly part of the dance.

    Bette, Tina, and Angelica walked in and immediately spotted Shane and Alice dancing. Angelica giggled at her aunts.

    "What the heck?" Tina asked.

    "Oh my God. I guess it’s not just a college thing," Bette said.

    "What are you talking about?"

    "A couple of boys at school were…dancing like that in a classroom a few days ago. Apparently it’s a popular internet thing."

    "Alice looks like she’s having a seizure."

    3. I am going to have those songs in my head all day and will probably dream about them too! Wonderful! Great chapter – really made me smile. But hey what about a mention for the good old llama song eh? I once sang it to a whole field of llamas. When I sing to the badgers they just lollop off. Oh and did you know that the badgers near me just love peanut butter sandwiches – coincidence?

    4. Aw, Lament–I’m touched! And giggling hysterically! I could see it all! I knew you could do something really wacky with those idea fragments, and you truly delivered! Never would have guessed those three actually being dressed as “Peanut butter jelly with a baseball bat”! Thanks, Grasshopper–and congrats on your challenge win! Well-deserved, to be sure!

    6. LOL..i had to go and check-out those videos for true appreciation..not that i get the whole thing but can somewhat get the gist of it. At least Angie didn’t go with “Baby Got Back” like Ross/Rachel’s kid.haha.
