“You need to crouch a little more.” Frankie says while applying a little downward pressure to Angelica’s hips. “It gives ya a lower center of balance so you won’t fall. But it also lets you move better.”
Angelica nods her head, “Got it.”
She was having a great time, with no where in particular she needed to be skateboarding was as good as anything else to be doing. When Frankie offered her board for Angelica to try she jumped at the chance but only if Frankie gave her instructions. For some reason Frankie was eager to share her expertise.
“So just give yourself a kick and glide for a bit to get the feel.” Frankie continues to instruct while letting go of Angelica’s hips.
Angelica misses the warmth of Frankie’s hands but is excited to push off. Skateboarding was something she has seen hundreds of others do in the park but her Mom had never been too keen on Angelica actually skating herself. Her Mom never actually told her NO but Angelica just knew it was one of those things her mother wouldn’t be thrilled about so she never asked.
Pushing off Angelica loved the feeling of gliding over the pavement. The wind blowing by her face added to her exhilaration. Excited she put her hands out and kicked off again to go faster.
“Great job now lean to one side or the other to change directions.” Frankie instructs running along side Angelica. She could see the joy on Angelica’s face. It was a sight she wanted to see more of.
Reggie stood and watched the two messing around at the other end of the parking lot. He couldn’t believe that Frankie was actually letting that girl use her board. After all it was sacrilegious in the skateboarding community to let anyone on top of your ride. It just wasn’t done.
He watched the two of them for as long as he could and now a little bored he wanted to move along. Toeing his board he decided the girls had had enough alone time. Getting on he gave his board a kick and joined them.
“Hey Frankie lets blow this place. They’ll be turning the lights off soon anyway let’s go to the Strip.”

I really enjoyed the chapter. Frankie reminded me a little bit of Shane. :) Her and Angelica are very cute together. I really like Frankie because she’s very concerned about Angelica and her well-being. Ooooh, this is going to get interesting. Kit noticed a familiarity in Angelica and I can’t wait for these two ladies to talk. Great chapter and PPS!

Angie lucked out when she met Frankie and she is also lucky that Frankie is one of Shane’s kids, therefore one of Bette’s kids also. Angie must look enough like Tina for Kit to get this feeling that she looks familar.

Ange needs Bette now; hell she doesn’t know who she is at the most important time of her life; so my friend sort out her identity and are u hinting her sexual identity may need sorting also; adolescence is so hard. as usual a great read.

Hello JWet, Thank you for another wonderful post. Good to see thta Frankie was there for Angelica. Ready to help out and offer her some real advice. The net is tightening as Kit has now witnessed her “Niece” in the Planet. Wonder when 1 and 1 will make 2??? Amazing to think that everything Frankie has been through she is able and willing to offer a hand. Perhaps this is the miracle of the Kids Shelter. Give them a place to stay and sound advice and hope that they pay it forward in life. I do hope you come back to use soon and post more of this awesome adventure I am just wondering if Tina has the courage to come to LA and visit the gang again. I am sure that with their contacts they can find Angelica quickly. Mind you that may raise more questions than answers. i a ready for any eventuality you care to share.
