    Author Notes:

    Tina and Bette talk it out.

     

    Bette:  Tonight?  Why not now?

     

    Tina:  Because the wound is still to fresh and you need to get some rest.  You’ll need your energy for tonight.

     

    Bette:  Need it tonight hmm?  O.K. what time should I be ready to go?

     

    Tina:  I’ll be here around 7:00 and wear something you’ll be comfortable in.

     

    Bette:  I’m comfortable in a lot of things.  How should I dress?

     

    Tina:  Casual

     

    Bette:  Comfortable casual wear?  What have you got in store for me tonight?

     

    Tina:  You’ll have to wait and see won’t you?  Oh, and you might want to bring a change or two of clothes.

     

    Bette:  Why?  Are we leaving out of town or something?

     

    Tina:  No.  It’s a just in case thing.

     

    Bette:  O.K. You’ve got me curious now.

     

    Tina:  Well, you know curiosity killed the cat.

     

    Bette:  I’ll make sure this cat stays alive and the curiosity will be solved.

     

    Tina:  All in due time babe.  All in due time.

     

    They both turned to the knock at the door and Alice walked back in.

     

    Alice:  I’m sorry.  I don’t mean to intrude, but I’ve got to get going.  Tina, do you need a ride?

     

    Tina:  Yes.  I’ll see you at 7:00.

     

    Bette:  7:00 it is.  Thanks Al!

     

    Bette got up and gave Alice a hug, turned to Tina to give her a hug, and Tina planted a very passionate kiss on Bette’s lips.  Alice blushed.

     

    Alice:  Aw, come on guys!  Get a room or else I’m going to have to hose you down.

     

    They all laughed.

     

    Bette:  What was that for?

     

    Tina:  For giving me a second chance and a preview of what’s to come.

     

    Bette:  Well, if that was just a preview, I can’t wait to see the whole story!

     

    Tina:  Soon babe, soon.

     

    They all walked to the door and said their goodbyes.  Bette felt like a kid in a candy shop, but she was still weary about taking anything.  She didn’t want to get her hopes up just to have them crushed again.  She went back to her room to get some sleep. 

     

    Tina and Alice got in the car and drove off.

    6. i am with the others! they won’t be available to keep her hands in her pockets! is a very good thing that they talk and Bette listened Tina! this is so good! i can’t wait to the surprise!
