    Tina and Bette talk it out.

    Previously…

     

    ALICE:  You know, Tina, if she loves you the way you say she does, you hurt Porter’s feelings.  Porter has never been so interested in just one girl before.  She’s only had one night stands.  Her theory on love life is fuck ‘em and leave ‘em.  She never gave her cell phone number to any of the girls she’s been with before.  You’re her first, Tina.  I saw the connection between the two of you last night.  You two belong together.  I’ll come and get you in 30 minutes.  Is that O.K.?

    TINA:  Fantastic.  Meet me at my house.

    ALICE:  O.K.  Are you sure she’s at home or is she at work?

    TINA:  I’m not certain she’s at home, but I know she’s not at work.  She has the next three days off.

    ALICE:  O.K.  I’ll see you in 30.

    TINA:  O.K.  Bye.

    Alice and Tina hung up their phones and Tina hurried home to change clothes.  She continued to reach Bette on her cell, but was diverted to her voice mail every time.  She hoped Bette was O.K.  Had Eric known about her before when he told her if he couldn’t have her nobody could?

    Alice and Tina pull into Bette’s driveway.  They see Bette’s car there

    Alice:  Are you sure, you want to do this?

    Tina:  Yes, I need to talk to her Al.

    Alice:  O.K. Tina, but what if she doesn’t want to talk to you?

    Tina:  I will make her talk to me Al. 

     

    Tina opened the car door, got out, and started walking towards the house.

     

    Tina:  Hey Al, wait for me.  O.K.

    Alice:  O.K.

    Tina walked up to Bette’s door, knocked, and looked around while waiting for Bette to answer the door.  She brought her hand back up to the door, and just as her knuckles struck the wood, the door popped open, but Bette was not on the other side.

     

    Tina:  Bette!  Hello, anybody home?

     

    Tina didn’t want to barge in especially if Bette was not there.  The house was silent.  She shot Alice a look of worry and Alice got out.

     

    Tina:  Bette, are you home?  It’s Tina.  Hello?

     

    Alice:  What’s wrong?
