    This is my version of how Tina should have reacted when Adele tried to kick her off the set!

    Adele was getting desperate now. She tried to think of something that would convince Tina that she had to keep her on the project. She knew she was a good Director. On a film set was where she was born to be. Now she just had to convince Tina of that.

    “You don’t think that when lesbians find out that Jenny took advantage of her lead actress that they are going to boycott the movie?”

    Tina just looked at Adele and shook her head in disbelief. “You really don’t know anything about love do you? When word of mouth spreads that you used Jenny and Nikki’s love against them to try and steal the movie and take credit for it, they will pay to see the movie, then make sure all their friends pay to see the movie…in support of Jenny and Nikki. They will want to see the movie where Nikki and Jenny fell in love. And remember, everyone knows that this movie is loosely based on all of our lives. They will feel sorry for the pain that the Jesse character goes through, and will then be even happier because they know that in real life Jenny slash Jesse got the girl. Then they will spread the news of your treachery and will never pay to see anything that has your name on it. They will see Les Girls for Jenny and Nikki…not for you.”

    Adele could feel the light sheen of sweat on her skin, and started to panic. Tina just gave her all really good reasons why she couldn’t ever follow through on her threat and make the video public. The blonde woman was right, if she exposed Jenny and Nikki, they would be embarrassed for a short amount of time, but she would only be helping all these people she so despised, and hurting herself! No, Tina was right, she would have to keep the video private. She couldn’t lose it all now, not after all the shit she put up with as Jenny’s assistant.

    As Adele stood there she suddenly smiled as she remembered she had the biggest asset of all in her back pocket. William! William will squash Tina Kennard without a thought if she asked him to! Grabbing her cell phone she gave Tina a smirk. “We’ll see what William says. When I tell him I simply can’t work with you here, he will make sure you are thrown off the set, and I won’t have to make the video public.” Adele lifted her chin in triumph.

    17. Wow, I bet no one will $### with you. The only thing that would have been better is Adele making a threatening move towards Tina and Tina laying her out and the police hauling her off. I hate devious people and usually couldn’t keep my cool long enough to mentally power through in an intelligent way rather than plow through like a tornado or wild fire wind. Love your writing and if I ever get backed into a corner again I am coming to you for advice.

    18. Sea, that was great and I would have loved to see Tina do this on the show. Alpha Tina at her best and I for one would have loved to see Tina deck Adele when she gave that shitty little smirk after turning her back and lighting a cigarette, and especially that pregnant pause before offering up the line about the movie being on budget and on time. Tina should have hit her so hard that it would have lifted the little bit– off her feet. Anywho, loved your rendition of how it should have been. Teriffically AWESOME. Hope this continues for another couple chapters. You have not lost anything in three mos, as if you could.
