Tina opened one eye slowly to look at the clock. 5:50am, ten minutes before the alarm was going to go off. She thought for a second before turning over to see if Bette was awake, when she found Bette still deep in slumber Tina snaked her arm around Bette’s waist and spooned up against her. When that didn’t seem to make any difference to Bette’s level of awareness Tina slipped her hand underneath Bette’s top and gently stroked her stomach, wanting Bette to wake up slowly, but wanting her to wake up nonetheless.
“Baby, are you awake?” Tina softly inquired.
“What time is it?” came Bette’s mumbled response.
“It’s nearly time to get up.”
“What time did you finally let me go to sleep last night?”
“I’m not sure, maybe around three.”
“Ugh, three hours sleep T.”
“You can sleep on the plane, and you weren’t complaining last night.”
Bette smiled as she remembered her last night in London with Tina. After they left the wrap party Tina made good on her promise to reward Bette for doing her packing, up against the wall of their hotel room before they finally made it to their bed, and of course, Bette repaid Tina in kind. Bette wriggled around so that she was facing Tina, lifting her hand so that she caress Tina’s cheek.
“I love you.” Bette whispered.
“I love you too, baby.” replied Tina, smiling at Bette’s sincerity.
Bette took this smile as some form of encouragement so she gently pushed Tina onto her back and moved to lie on top of her. Bette’s mouth was on Tina’s before she could muster any protest about the time. While Bette’s tongue entered Tina’s mouth her hands ran up Tina’s sides, taking her top with them so that all Bette could feel was Tina’s skin against her fingers. Bette shifted her weight slightly so that she could take Tina’s left breast within her hand, massaging the soft skin, which was in direct contrast to how hard Tina’s nipple was becoming.
Somehow Tina managed to extricate her mouth from Bette’s but the expanse of Bette’s neck that was presenting itself to her was too much to resist. She lightly bit at the skin, knowing that she was going to leave a mark, but not really caring. She started to pull at Bette’s top, wanting that skin on skin contact.

OMG so sweet! I teared up like the sap I am. lol And I feel Bette’s pain with regards to the alarm. Many times I want to chuck my clock across the room in the mornings. =p

CG, That was another extraordinary moment beautifully written in Bette and Tina’s life together. There was a sense of resolution and completing the cycle as Bette slipped the ring onto Tina’s finger. Great chapter mate, I think Bette can do spontaneous, she just has to have a know that when it come down to Tina, she wants her so much that the possibility of rejection stops her being spontaneous – she’ll get to know that its the right thing to do. Confident Porter is back… Great, loved it.
