Dana: You want me to call Shane? She can arrange for everyone to meet at The Planet while we get ready.

Alice: Erm, yeah. I’ll go make us some coffee.

Dana: You can’t, Al. You can’t walk, or stand.

Alice: Oh. Sorry, it’s just easy to forget now I’m out of hospital.

Dana: That’s understandable. How about I make coffee, and you call Shane?

Alice: Alright, milk and 2 sugars please.

Dana: I know, Al.

Dana smiled at Alice and kissed her on the cheek. Even though they had kissed last night, she still didn’t want to do it without Alice’s permission. She wasn’t sure why she felt she needed permission to kiss her girlfriend, but she hoped it wouldn’t last too long. After looking into Alice’s eyes, she got up from the bed and passed Alice the phone. As she passed her the phone, their fingers brushed and they shared another intense look. They both felt the electricity like feeling as their fingers touched, and they couldn’t believe what simple touches could do to them both. Dana gave one last smile before walking to the kitchen to make the coffee. While Dana was in there, Alice was calling Shane. Dana knew it was wrong, like an invasion of privacy even though they were together, she couldn’t help listening to Alice’s side of the conversation from the other room.

Shane: Hey, Al.

Alice: Hey Shane. Did I wake you up?

Shane: Nah, I was up already.

Alice: Really? The only reason you’re ever awake at this time is cause you found another girl.

Shane: Well, that’s partly true. But this time, I didn’t find her, I met her.

Alice: You met someone?

Shane: Yeah. I got her number. I didn’t even sleep with her, Al, if that’s what you’re going to ask.

Alice: Well I was curious, but that’s a shock. What’s her name?

Shane: Carmen. She’s gorgeous.

Alice: And you like her? Like actually like her? Not just for a fuck?

Shane: Look, Al, I know my reputation is bad, but yes I do. It’s kinda funny how we met though.

Alice: Why, what happened?

Shane: I’ll fill you in on that later. What did you call for?

Alice: Well… Dana and I were wondering if you could all meet us at The Planet later. We want to tell everyone about us, you know, with the whole Lara and Aidan thing going on. I just feel like we need all the support we can get. Do you think you can make it?
