Dana: So, Carmen turned you down, but here you are. Our little Shane might be changing her ways, finally.

Shane: Time will only tell, Dane.

By the time they had finished talking, it was 4 in the afternoon.

Alice: Dane, I’m a little tired. Can we go home?

Dana: Yeah baby. Hey guys, Alice and I are going to go, were tired and need to eat something before we pass out. We’ll see you tomorrow or something?

Bette: Actually, Tina and I were thinking of having a barbecue this Friday, you guys are obviously invited, so we’ll see you there, right?

Alice: We’ll definitely be there. Come on Dane. Bye guys.

The family: Bye Al, bye Dane.

Dane: See you Friday.

Dana wheeled Alice out of The Planet and over to the car, but before Dana opened the car door, Alice protested.

Dana: What?

Alice: Do you think, we could go for a walk? Well, you walk, ill wheel.

Dana: Are you sure? You just said you were tired.

Alice: I’m sure. I’ve been cooped up inside for all these weeks. We could go anywhere you want, I just don’t want to go home yet.

Dana: Okay. You know, I’d take you to the beach, but your wheels will get stuck.

Alice: Yeah. Come on. Wheel me somewhere.

Dana took her place back behind Alice. She leant down and kissed the top of Alice’s head before beginning their walk. They walked down the path towards the park. They knew it would be fairly quiet and peaceful. When they got there, Dana sat on the bench and placed Alice by her side. They decided to leave her in her chair as it would be easier, and they weren’t planning on staying for long. After around an hour, they decided to head home. It was around 6pm when they arrived home and Alice decided she wanted Chinese food.

Alice: Dane, do you think we could order in? I want to watch movies and eat junk food.

Dana: Just this once, Al.

Alice: Because you love me?

Dana: Of course.

Dana leaned down and gave Alice a kiss on the lips and as soon as she felt Alice respond, she knew she could do it anytime she wanted. She leaned back and headed back into the kitchen to call the Chinese. She was told it would be around 15 minutes, so she sat back down next to Alice and grabbed her hand. They were sat in silence, just listening to each other’s breathing and appreciating that they had one another. Before they knew it, there was a knock at the door. Alice looked at Dana, noticing it had only been 5 minutes since Dana called the Chinese place.

Alice: They can’t be here already…

Dana stood to open the door, but grabbed a tennis racket before she opened it. Alice found this a little funny, but she was still curious as to who was at the door. When Dana got to the door, she leant against it.

Dana: Who’s there?

Aidan: Dana, it’s me, Aidan. Can I come in? Its urgent.

Dana could sense the worry and fear in Aidan’s voice and opened the door, but the sight that greeted her wasn’t pleasant. There stood Aidan, covered in blood…
