    Author Notes:

    As Jenny explains her dream of being in the past to Dan Foxworthy, Jenny, while in the past itself explores the reality of her situation and begins to understand what her purpose might be.

    Jenny: I know it sounds hard to believe, but…

    Tina: Uhhh…yeaahh.  Jenny…why would you even want to talk about one of us dying…ANY of us dying?

    Bette: Let alone from breast cancer.  Seriously, Jenny you were supposed to get help.

    Jenny: I’m telling you the truth, guys.  We need to save Dana.

    Bette: Okay…

    Bette hands Angelica over to Tina and stands.  Pacing back and forth in front of Jenny, Bette ponders Jenny’s sanity as she speaks.

    Bette: …Let’s suppose that…hypothetically you are back in the past.  That you really aren’t fucked up on something or being completely delusional.

    Jenny: Bette…

    Bette: No, Jenny, we’re only speaking hypothetically.  So hypothetically, one of us…in this case, Dana who from what Kit told me has enough to deal with as is, what with her breaking up with Alice and Lara pouring herself all over her now has to deal with having breast cancer.

    Tina: That would be really crappy.

    Bette: Exactly, I don’t know why anybody would want to wish that on someone.  Especially someone like Dana.  But hypothetically speaking, let’s suppose that happens.  What are you going to do about it?  What are we going to do about it?  How do you change the future if it’s set, Jenny?  There’s no fucking way other than to conclude that it is utter nonsense.

    Jenny stands up, furious.

    Jenny: It’s the truth, Bette!  It’s not a hypothesis!  It’s going to happen unless WE-!

    Tina: Jenny..!

    Jenny looks at Tina.

    Tina: Don’t wake the baby, please?

    Jenny: Fine.  Let Dana-

    Jenny is interrupted, this time by the sound of the door being knocked upon.  Bette breathes a disappointed sigh at Jenny and walks to the door.  Bette opens the door, seeing Alice standing there, looking down.

    Alice: Hey, Bette.

    Bette: Kit told me.  I’m sorry.

    Bette gives Alice a hug as Alice walks into the home, the door being closed behind her.  She sees Jenny, Tina and the sleeping Angelica before looking back at Bette.

    Alice: If I’m interrupting…

    Tina: No, it’s okay.

    Alice: Um…yeah, it’s been rough today.  I don’t know what to do with myself, guys.  Didn’t know who to talk to…even wound up calling Helena.  Didn’t even realize I had her number.  Ha!

    Bette rolls her eyes upong hearing the name, "Helena."

    1. Jenny’s going to have to come up with a more subtle plan to convince everyone. Maybe a group pact to all get mammograms, maybe getting Lara on board, or maybe Jenny gets Dana drunk and seduces her, thus giving her a legitimate reason to have Dana topless. Although their last try at any kind of sex was awkward and laughably bad. I’m sure she’ll think of something. Thanks for posting.

    2. Oh yeah a group mammogram! It would probably end up like the S5 defense class somehow. lol On a serious note I do wish doctors encouraged getting mammograms done earlier than age 40. I had one prior to my breast reduction and it’s no big deal.

    3. ok somehow i have ended up reading what I promise myself never to indulge in being a Jenny story…but this ones seems to hold some redemption for the character so here I am along for the ride
