The Time L-element (Part 3 Of 5)
-Early Afternoon. Jenny is home, back in time.-
Jenny sits at her laptop, beginning to type.
-Saturday, Dr. Foxworthy’s office.-
Jenny: I’m convinced I’m going back in time for a reason. There has to be a purpose. For me, my purpose is to write. So that’s what I do for the rest of the morning until after Noontime. I write. I write knowing that I now have more time to write the perfect novel. It’s like a Paradise I’ve been granted and I realize that if I can accomplish anything, it’s making sure I write the perfect story and not get fucked over as I had been before. Lez Girls was going to have a better life than before, I was sure of it.
-Back in time, Jenny continues writing.-
Her typing is interrupted by a knock on the door. She looks up from the warm glow of the monitor and its ever blinking cursor, hearing the knock once again.
Jenny: Just a minute..!
Jenny closes her laptop and walks to the door. Opening the door, she sees Dana, in what appears to be tennis warmup gear. Dana’s expression is grim and the rush of nerves Jenny had felt earlier that morning now begin to subside. Jenny opens the door wider.
Jenny: Hi…
Dana: Okay if I come in?
Jenny backs away, allowing Dana in. Once inside, Jenny closes the door.
Jenny: How are you?
Dana painfully smirks, looking down. She looks back up at Jenny, smiling sarcastically.
Dana: You mean aside from the breakup with Al? Doing great.
Dana sighs.
Dana: I’m sorry. Let’s just say I’ve had better days.
Jenny: It’s okay.
Dana: I just wanted to check on you. Make sure you were alright.
Jenny: Me?
Dana: Yeah… You looked like you were dazed. Why did you keep saying I was dead?
Jenny: Oh.
Jenny ponders for a second, not wanting to disrupt the new found feeling of peace.
Jenny: It was nothing. I um…
Jenny laughs.
Jenny: I had been up for an extremely long time getting back from Ohio. I don’t even remember leaving there or getting here. It was that exhausting! But I’m sorry, Dana. You’re not dead. You…
Jenny reaches for Dana, wrapping her arms around her friend’s shoulders and resting her face against Dana’s right shoulder.

Jenny’s going to have to come up with a more subtle plan to convince everyone. Maybe a group pact to all get mammograms, maybe getting Lara on board, or maybe Jenny gets Dana drunk and seduces her, thus giving her a legitimate reason to have Dana topless. Although their last try at any kind of sex was awkward and laughably bad. I’m sure she’ll think of something. Thanks for posting.
Oh yeah a group mammogram! It would probably end up like the S5 defense class somehow. lol On a serious note I do wish doctors encouraged getting mammograms done earlier than age 40. I had one prior to my breast reduction and it’s no big deal.
ok somehow i have ended up reading what I promise myself never to indulge in being a Jenny story…but this ones seems to hold some redemption for the character so here I am along for the ride
Hey Kace… Caught up on the last two parts… you my friend have such a unique sensibility for storytelling I cannot wait to see what you come up with next… but for now more please… JC
