Carmen: Where’s Kit? I need to tell her I can’t work here anymore.
Jenny: Carmen, I….um….
Carmen: She isn’t here?
There’s a coldness in Carmen’s voice that breaks Jenny’s spirits almost completely.
Jenny: Just hold on….kay? Don’t go anywhere. I’ll go get her.
Jenny leaves from the counter, but walks over to Carmen.
Jenny: Just….um….look at the menu or something.
Jenny’s eyes are wide as if begging. Carmen has an intuition that Shane’s there somewhere.
Carmen: Alright.
Lara notices Shane about to stand and Alice almost grabbing at her arm.
Shane: I’m goin’ over there.
Alice: Shane, don’t!
Shane jerks herself away from Alice’s grasp and makes a b-line towards
Carmen. Jenny tries to intervene, but Shane steps by her.
Shane: Carmen!
Carmen turns around and her eyes immediately squint and her brows pierce.
Shane: I just wanna apo…….
Carmen: Without so much as a second thought, Carmen with a tear in her
eye cliches her right fist and swings towards Shane’s face. The
blow connects and Shane reels back a few steps immediately grasping at
her nose.
Shane: FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!
There’s a sense of rage that overtakes Carmen as everyone in the
restaurant stops and looks towards the spectacle near the counter.
Alice: Holy shit!
Bette and Tina have a look of concern.
Kit: Not in my GODDAMN restaurant!!!!!
Bette: Kit!
Kit stands out of her chair and begins walking over to Shane and
Carmen. Bette, concerned for Kit’s well being stands as well and
looks back at Tina.
Bette: Stay here.
Bette reaches out for her sister.
Bette: Don’t do anything that can harm your body, let me handle this.
Kit ignores Bette and keeps walking. Jenny’s frozen in
position. Shane’s stunned. Carmen meanwhile, goes on the
offensive, landing a left handed slap across the side of Shane’s head,
followed by a right handed slap. Carmen cusses Shane out as she
does so. Shane’s backing up towards the door, as blood begins to
trickle from her nose. Lara sprints over and as Carmen is about
to land another right hook, her arm is grabbed from behind by
Lara. Carmen tries to elbow out, but Lara dodges and uses her
left arm to grab Carmen’s waist. Lara’s right arm extends to
Carmen’s right shoulder, isolating it and her arm.
Lara: Please, Carmen not here.
Carmen: Bitch, let go or I’ll fucking kill you!!!!!!!!

Drama, That gang is really unhappy. Poor things try to get one over the hump another starts thanks
Everyone is a messy and that might just be a good way to get everything turned around positively for everyone. Everyone will be on an even footing and can get their lives in order and we start a new season full of love, hope and promise. Thanks for the post.
Man, how can IC screw up her show so badly. First, Bette and Tina breaking up, Dana dying and now Shane and Carmen breaking up. Not to mention all the other little stuff like Helena loosing everything. The only good thing about this is that Bette and Tina are beginning to look at each other in a different light. I hope that you will continue with this story.
this is awesome but don’t you think shane deserved it… it will be cool to see how you get them back together. great story

hehe I loved it… Carmen sure knows how to start a fight, still feel bad for her tho, I hope she and Shane are able to work it out. Lara and Jenny are right..everything’s different now Dana is gone.. :(
Geez! Carmen really gave Shane hell. Great post. It’s gonna take a miracle to get Shane & Carmen back on good terms again.

Kace, wow, I’m really enjoying this series–you have a wonderful way of capturing these characters true to how we know them from the show. I love how you are showing us Lara and Alice’s relationship unfold, for example. PLEASE keep your writing coming–I was so excited to find more today. You are giving me something to look forward to in the ‘off’ season. So thank you for and please keep this 3.5 coming because we are READING! Cheers.
