The long and winding road – chp 41
Tina was pacing around the house. She was glad that they had asked Helena if she would get Bette and Danny from the hospital. She knew that she was too excited to have her family at home to be able to concentrate on driving. It was 3:30 on a Friday when Bette was due to be released and rush-hour traffic was even more impossible to negotiate .
She had asked the gang if they would stay away just for the night – she wanted a few precious hours with just Bette and Danny. She had cleaned the house about three times . Shane had taken her out for groceries and helped her tidy the garden and the pool area. Tina wanted everything to be just right for Bette. She had bought fresh salmon – determined to fed her lover with the very best of everything.
She was just about to check the bathroom for the third time when she heard a car pulling up in the drive. She almost collided with the door frame in her desire to get to the door and greet her family.
She opened the door in time to see Helena opening the side door of her BMW and Bette carefully getting Danny out of the baby seat that Helena had typical had installed just for this trip with her precious cargo. It was the first time Tina had seen her dressed since Danny was born and she almost gasped at the sight.
Bette was wearing jeans – not her figure hugging Levi’s but comfortably loose jeans and a grey shirt that was tucked into her jeans. She was also wearing black boots – she looked sensational.
What Tina did not know was that Lara had turned up to see the baby and had bought Bette some clothes of her own size – Bette was thrilled at the thoughtfulness of the gift. Her body was still the most sensual thing that Tina had ever seen in her life.
Bette was carrying Danny wrapped in a blue blanket.

That little hiatus has done you good. This chapter was excellent. I like this Bette. She knows what she needs from Tina to nourish her body and soul. It is far better to have Daniel in his crib so they can find time to reconnect physically and spiritually w/each other.

When a baby gets use to sleeping with you.its a hard thing to break. Tina is so in love with Danny,that is so easy to do.You fall in love at first sight.and stay that way until you are no longer on this earth. Thamks so much for two. and Cong on 200.Enjoed each one of them thanks

Daniel in his own crib is a good start to getting their family back together. So Tina is having twins and hopefully not Henry’s child. They do make a beaufiful couple and their kids are going to break a number of hearts.
I am suddenly reminded of “Lady and the Tramp” when Lady wanted to sleep in the bed. Jim Dear finally gave in and said, “But just for tonight.” Cut to Lady no longer being a puppy. lol

Congratulations on #200 AllyE and I’ve loved every one of them. This chapter was so sweet and endearing with them showing their love for each other even with the little blips they encounter. Bette was right though abouthim sleeping in his own bed. When little ones get used to sleeping with you it is almost impossible to get them to stay in their beds alone. When you have them in bed with you they will never stay in the spot you put them in, they will roll right up against you, that why some unfortunate things happens to babies in bed with adults. It is best to leave them in their own beds. Great chapter.

First of all I want to say Congrats on your 200th post. Just as I think you have outdone yourself, you write a chapter like this one. If the next few are like this one then you are going to turn me into a big old cry baby. Just want to add one more thing—Ally it’s not nice to laugh and an old lady when she cries. But even though you do I still consider you my best friend honey.
