Tina nodded
“You’re right “
“I know we’ll have to have him in with us some nights but I need to fall asleep holding you “
Tina nodded
“What you want is very important to me Bette . For too long you gave in for my sake. I love you “
“I love you — now go give Daniel Christopher a kiss and come and cuddle up to me”
Tina nodded and got up and went across to his crib – she gently touched his face
“I love you so much Danny “
Tina blinked back tears — she was so overwhelmed by how she felt about this little figure sleeping peacefully. She could look at him forever – just gaze at him in awe and wonderment at the blessings he represented to her. She finally turned and looked at the bearer of that miracle – her Bette Porter.
Only Bette could look hot only three days after the birth of her son. Only Bette could sit in bed in a muscle vest and look so smoulderingly hot. Despite herself Tina felt herself becoming aroused — she checked herself. Those feelings would have to be kept to herself for several weeks. Bette’s health mattered so much to her and she was still anxious that the 41 yr old’s body would need a long time to recover from Danny’s unexpected arrival.
Tina went into the bathroom to clean her teeth before walking back join Bette in their bed. Once in they looked anxiously at one another – Tina took hold of Bette’s hand
“Thank you”
“What for ? “
“Coming back – taking me away from Henry – giving me everything I have ever wanted “
“And you don’t think that you complete everything that I have ever wanted ? “
“I hope so “
“You do “
“I’m glad “
Tina turned the bedsides lights right down so the room was just lit with a gentle glow. She lay down and waited for Bette to snuggle up to her. Bette rolled onto her side and pulled Tina round so they we facing each other. Tina arched her back as Bette pulled their bodies into a full length embrace
“Oh god that feels good “
“It does “ Bette agreed “ So good “
Tina held her breath wondering if Bette would kiss her. She wasn’t sure if
she could be the one to begin a kissing session because she knew she didn’t have the discipline to end it.
Bette seemed content to just lie holding Tina and gradually Tina’s body
relaxed into the embrace. This felt right for both of them – to have their bodies almost at the shapes they had been before their split. To be able to relive all the memories their bedroom held.
Unbeknown they were both thinking about the past – for Bette it was the first time they had made love in this room – the not so tender passion that had burst between them during the move into the house. For Tina it was their first wedding anniversary — a marathon even by their standards – they had made love as the sun had set and many hours later as it had risen again they had still be moving inside the other. A session so mammoth that both had needed a couple of days off work to recover and Bette had claimed she had walked funny for the next week.
As Tina was re-living a time when they were so engrossed in each other and in their marriage she opened her eyes to see that Bette was almost asleep.
“I can never repay what you have given me Bette – I love you now more than I did when we were married because I know how inadequate any replacement really is “
Bette opened her eyes and smiled
“I love you more now too “
“Go to sleep babe “
“While we can “
“Yeah – I’ll be here for you sweetie “
“Good – I’m happy about that “
“So am I “
“Goodnight babe “
“Goodnight honey “

That little hiatus has done you good. This chapter was excellent. I like this Bette. She knows what she needs from Tina to nourish her body and soul. It is far better to have Daniel in his crib so they can find time to reconnect physically and spiritually w/each other.

When a baby gets use to sleeping with you.its a hard thing to break. Tina is so in love with Danny,that is so easy to do.You fall in love at first sight.and stay that way until you are no longer on this earth. Thamks so much for two. and Cong on 200.Enjoed each one of them thanks

Daniel in his own crib is a good start to getting their family back together. So Tina is having twins and hopefully not Henry’s child. They do make a beaufiful couple and their kids are going to break a number of hearts.
I am suddenly reminded of “Lady and the Tramp” when Lady wanted to sleep in the bed. Jim Dear finally gave in and said, “But just for tonight.” Cut to Lady no longer being a puppy. lol

Congratulations on #200 AllyE and I’ve loved every one of them. This chapter was so sweet and endearing with them showing their love for each other even with the little blips they encounter. Bette was right though abouthim sleeping in his own bed. When little ones get used to sleeping with you it is almost impossible to get them to stay in their beds alone. When you have them in bed with you they will never stay in the spot you put them in, they will roll right up against you, that why some unfortunate things happens to babies in bed with adults. It is best to leave them in their own beds. Great chapter.

First of all I want to say Congrats on your 200th post. Just as I think you have outdone yourself, you write a chapter like this one. If the next few are like this one then you are going to turn me into a big old cry baby. Just want to add one more thing—Ally it’s not nice to laugh and an old lady when she cries. But even though you do I still consider you my best friend honey.
