The L Word: Tina Kennard’s lost background
“Why you’re so confident…”
“Because I’m…that’s why. I’m better than you, I’m faster than you…I’m a warrior and you aren’t…I can kill you with one stroke and you wouldn’t even know what had pass through you. I can bring your powers back and you can’t take them without me…so it’s easy…you can’t kill me but I can…”
“I’m not like you…I don’t need them, I spent my whole life without them…”
“But you had fun in high school right” Riley said
“Everyone’s having fun in high school…”
“So you want to fight with me?”
“Yes…let’s do it…let’s finish this right here and now…” Tina said taking few steps further.
“Fine…” Riley said nodding her head…” But not in here…I don’t want to…soil my paradise…” Riley said and snapped her fingers. They found themselves back in the big living room, surrounded by guards.
“Is that your way of fighting…can you fight alone?” Tina asked with sarcasm
“They aren’t for me…they are for you…they’ll help you…I’m giving you a flying start, just because you’re my sister…and my parents took me well…” Riley said, crossing her arms.
“I don’t need your charity, sent them away…I’ll finish this alone…”
“Brave to stupidity…that’s a very strong characteristic of our family…” Riley had this smug smile over her face…”Let’s bring it on…”
Bette was running as fast as she could. Soon she was not far away from the house, so she sneaks to the back yard, and walked in trough the secret door. She was walking quietly trough the house, and hiding behind the big statues. Soon the sound of colliding steel dragged her attention. She walked to the living room and saw Tina and Riley fighting in a duel and from the way Tina was holding her position Bette knew that she was losing. Her heart stopped when Riley’s sword pass inches away from Tina’s head, but she ducked, masterly avoiding the attack. Bette was impressed from Tina’s skills in fight, she never had the smallest idea of that, and Tina never had sowed this side of her. She looked down at her chest and saw the medallion. He was radiating light. Bette touched the item and felt the rush of energy again. Maybe this was her chance to help Tina in this battle. She hesitated for a moment, but when Riley kicked Tina throwing her across the room, that was the last drop.
