The L Word: Tina Kennard’s lost background

Making a decision to do something new involves giving up something else. That’s what makes it hard, sometimes impossible or unacceptable. There’s a loose to deal with as well as the uncertainly of the future. We resist change when the number of the positive things in our lives is equal to the number of negative things. Comparing these negatives and positives objectively helps us to move forward. And what if there’s no forward? What if you’re so stuck in the middle? Then your only chance is waiting, and praying for another chance to move ahead…

“Ok…what’s the plan?” Alice asked, rising from the ground…”God, my ass is stiff…” she rubbed her butt, making few steps around…

“There’s no plan…Alice, there’s no plan…” Tina said, bending her head down.

“I don’t understand how’s that you don’t have a plan. How we’re supposed to get out of here?” she asked again.

“You’re leaving…I’m staying…that’s the decision I took earlier…that’s how you guys are going to get out of here…” Tina said, turning her back…

“No!” Bette yelled, also rising from the ground….”There’s no way…I’m not leaving you here!”

“Guys…you’re free to go…I talked to my mother…and she agrees with my proposition. So you can leave now….”

“Did you not here me T…I’m not leaving you…I’ll stay…you need me…” Bette said with tears in her eyes.

“Guys…go ahead…give us one minute…I’ll walk her out….” Tina said with nod to the guard to open the door. She told him to walk them to the front door, and make sure they are ok…When the others left the room Tina took Bette’s face and pull her close, so only she could hear her words…

“Listen to me Bette Porter… I need you…I need you alive, so I can be alive too, I need you to breath so I could breath too…don’t you get it…hum? You’re mi life…and if something happens to you, that will be the end for me…so don’t tell me I need you, because I know it. Now I want you to walk out of this house, and never turn your head back…and when it’s over I’ll come home too…and we’re going to have our second wind, ok?” Tina said, looking straight in these beautiful brown orbs, full of love and sadness.
