Shane took a sip of the diet cola that was sitting on the small table to her left. Sam stirred, but she was still asleep. God she was beautiful, even with the bruises on her face, and the bandages that seemed to go on forever. Shane had almost lost her she never wanted to feel that again.
They’d never gone more than a day without having *****, and now it was going on their second week and Shane felt no urge to stray. She didn’t need to didn’t want to. It was an eerie thing to realize that you’d settled down. Shane, the resident heartthrob was settled, she was nesting. Sam finally crept an eye open.
“I liked this episode…” She muttered sitting up a bit and Shane grinned. Sam knew them by heart she’d analyzed them and knew some lines as well as the how each scene was shot. It was the same with the ER episodes that they’d watched last week and they were going to start on the Buffy ones when Shane was caught up on Angel. Sam had also ordered a show called Dark Angel that Shane had never heard of, Shane wondered when she’d slept when she was in school between the studying, watching TV and being with C.J. it was a wonder she graduated.
“Oh yeah? Why?” Sam motioned to the blonde talking to Connor, they were sliding a stone slate over a coffin.
“She looks like Tina don’t she? I just like it, sort of the way I feel about my dad at the moment. I’d like to put him in a cement enclosure and let him simmer for a while. Maybe he’d think before he acts. I doubt it but he it would be worth a shot.” Shane laughed and threw her a piece of popcorn.
Gardner; Sam‘s dad had left three days before. The whole while he’d been there he’d been nothing but sweet to Shane. Engaging in conversation and attentive to his daughter at all times. His fluid accent had lulled Shane into trusting him. Then Sam had told her today that he’d dropped off a large envelope that contained Shane‘s life history. He’d had a team, a team no less, of private investigators to investigate Shane. It was still sealed. Shane had been stunned she had told Sam a lot about her life. His duplicity had shocked Shane; the envelope was sitting on the floor besides the table. His duplicity had more than angered Sam it had sent her into a ranting rage.

That is hilarious that Sam spaced out as Shane asked her to marry her. I also hope she says “Yes”.

Sam/Shane have a habit of thinking that is faster than listening. They are cute.
Leave it to Shane, to propose while sitting on the toilet. That was cute how Sam spaced-out. Glad Their conversation con’t & there was no misunderstanding. COOL.
