    A party – Lara impresses Marina – Kit starts to break down – Bette and Tina make progress – Alice and Dana are, well, Alice and Dana – Sam still isn’t sure about her relationship with Shane and Alice tries to set her straight – Shane is actling like Shane, the Romeo of LA

     

                “How is she?  She was distant every time I called her.” Sam drifted off she’d left a few hours after Bette had punched her for an emergency meeting.  She and Shane had eaten a silent dinner, Brian having called her just as Sam was about to explain what had happened and that she hadn’t had ***** with Tina.  He had told her about Gardner having a heart attack in the middle of a board meeting.  She’d rushed to the airport with only her father on her mind.

     

                “She’s ok, she likes her new job, rubbing elbows with ***** women, you know Shane…  Oh I’m sorry Sam; I didn’t mean it that way.”  Sam shrugged; she didn’t know Shane that way, but she was sure she was going to find out.

     

                “Please, no worries.  So are you ready yet?  I want to go home and change.”

     

                “The ***** you are, Shane sees you in that outfit and she’ll be creaming in her jeans.”

     

                Sam simply rolled her eyes and followed Alice out the door.

                Ivan put on the suit that she’d picked out for the evening.  She opted to not be in costume tonight a rare thing for her.  She rubbed her hands together never having felt like this before.  She was getting married, to a wonderful woman.  Nothing could go wrong; nothing on earth could stop this wedding from happening.

                Shane rolled over in the bed, looking at the time and getting up from the tangle of sheets.  She looked over at her bed partner dejour.  The sixth in as many days, she pushed her hair back from her eyes green eyes.  She gathered her clothes and was about to leave silently.

     

                “Going somewhere lover?”  Shane nodded.

     

                “I have to be somewhere.  I’ll call you.”  The woman; who’s name Shane couldn’t remember for the life of her at the moment rolled over onto her belly.  Then the name came to her; Sarah.

     

                “Really?”  She asked Shane with a bit to much hope in her voice.  Shane stopped at the door, slipping her foot into her shoe.

     

                “No, not really.  I won’t.  Call you that is; I’m sort of involved, I think.”  Shane stammered; wishing she knew where she and Sam were heading, if anywhere.

     

                “It was great while it lasted.”  She mussed smiling at Shane.

     

                “Glad someone got something out of it.”  Shane muttered, heading out the door.

    1. Kit, back on the wagon…now all we need is to get Ivan back up there for a truly event free relationship, NOT! Famous last words Ivan (especially with J at the helm of this mad capped story), “Nothing could go wrong; nothing on earth could stop this wedding from happening.” Now, are B&T gonna really talk or are they going to continue to find the least mature (yet most prime time) ways to deal with their issues?

    2. Not a nice parting shot Shane muttered about her bed partner (“Glad someone got something out of it.” ) geez thats rough. Gloom & possibly doom ahead? Can’t wait J.

    3. I for one think the wedding won’t go ahead as planned *evil grin*, but I’ll have to wait a bit more to see if I’m right. Good to see Bette and Tina are doing rather well. And then there’s good ol’Shane lol, but she really is sleeping with the wrong women…;)

    4. Kit is not cut out for this. Can’t please everyone all the time. she love Ivan,but she is not in love with her. Shane needs to get her act together and so does Sam. Tina and Bette Iffie. Still Hanging in here and love it. Thanks bvh
