Bette still had not told Tina about running into Jodie, she knew she should have told her by now but Bette couldn’t bring herself to do it. The whole Jodie issue was eating away at Bette, Bette knew Tina had questions, or was at least curious but ever since bringing it up that one day, she had never brought it up again Bette knew Tina was leaving the ball her court so to speak for, if and when Bette was ready to talk about Jodie. Bette had made up her mind on the Jodie issue she would talk to Tina soon very soon.
Bette took a deep breath and decided to go back to Bed hoping the cool air had relaxed her enough to at least get a couple of good hours of sleep.
She got back into bed, pulled what was normally Tina pillow and held it close she could smell Tina’s light perfume and a hit of her shampoo. She closed her eyes and hoped sleep would come soon.
Tina opened the front door quietly, Bette was asleep she didn’t want to wake her it was a little pass 3am, she didn’t know why she had driven to Bette’s before she realized it she was pulling up the driveway, it was almost like she was being pulled here, truth be told she had gotten used to sleeping in Bette’s arms nothing made her feel better and nothing relaxed her more.
She slipped off her shoes at the door and placed her bag on the couch along with her suit jacket she reached the bedroom door and saw Bette in bed wearing her boxer shorts and tank top, a combination that looked so sexy on Bette nothing turned her on more, other than Bette in a power suit. She quietly stepped back and headed towards the guest bathroom she needed to wash up and she didn’t want to wake up Bette after she was done she walked in wearing only her panties and bra and quietly got in to bed.
“T?”
“Shh, babe go back to sleep I didn’t mean to wake you”
“T, you came” Bette happily said
“I don’t know why or how but before I knew it I was pulling up in your driveway, I’m really sorry I woke you babe”
“I’m so glad you did, I was having a hard time falling asleep without you in bed beside me”
“Yeah?” Tina smiled
“Yeah” Bette answered as she reached over pulled Tina closer so she could spoon her from behind she kissed Tina’s shoulder.
“Good night T” Bette said as she was finally able to drift off to sleep
“I love you Bette”
