    Chapter 33

     

    On Tuesday morning Tina reached her office, it was only 8 am and had already received 3 voicemails and 5 e-mails, from people who needed a meeting with her to problems on a set.

     

    “Good morning Lisa”

     

    “Good morning Tina, how was your trip”

     

    “Tiring” Tina replied

     

    “And your weekend?”

     

    “Wonderful” Tina smiled

     

    “Good for you” Lisa winked

     

    “Ok, important messages on your desk, and I’m taking care of the others, the messengers sent over like 10 scripts yesterday they are also on your desk, and Aaron, and Helena need a meeting with you sometime today, just let me know when and I’ll set it up ok?”

     

    “Got it! Thank you again”

     

    She needed coffee.

     

    “Lisa I need coffee”

     

    “Already on your desk boss”

     

    “See I knew there was a reason why I hired you” Tina teased

     

    “Yeah and don’t you forget it” Lisa replied

     

    Tina got right to work she made calls, set up meetings, cleared up ½ of her e-mails and sent out at least a dozen herself, she was satisfied with the amount of work she had gotten done and it was still only 1pm, she needed to eat she had missed breakfast and her stomach was starting to protest, when there was a knock on her office door.

     

    “Come in”

     

    Tina smiled when she saw Bette at the door and a bag of Chinese food. Tina got up and walked to Bette.

     

    “What a nice surprise babe” Tina leaned in and gave Bette a kiss.

     

    “I was just getting ready to grab something to eat”

     

    “Good I’m glad I beat you to it then” Bette answered

     

    Bette put the food down on the coffee table and threw her purse on the couch in Tina’s office. Walked over to Tina and took her in for a warm embrace she put her head into Tina’s neck and took a deep breath.

     

     

    “Mmm, you always smell so good” Bette said as she placed a kiss on Tina’s lips

     

    “Babe, you must be swamped at work you shouldn’t have gone to the trouble of bringing me lunch”
