Chapter 35
The sun in her eyes woke Bette, she groaned then smiled realizing she still held on to the sleeping blonde, she placed a gentle kiss in Tina’s shoulder, and snuggled closer. She looked at the clock I was a little past 7:00, Bette had an early meeting and if she wanted to make it on time she would need to get up soon and change.
She quietly crawled out of Bed, hating breaking the intimate contact between her and Tina she made her way to the kitchen where she picked up the phone and dialed Shane’s number.
“Hey Shane it’s Bette, did I wake you?” Bette asked
“No, not at all just reading the paper before I have to head out to the office”
“Can I ask you for a huge favor?” Bette asked
“Of course, anything Bette” Shane replied
“Can you run the meeting for me today? I mean you know what I need covered, Tina just got home a little bit ago and I want to spend the morning with her, I’ll be after lunch”
“No problem Bette, I’ll take care of it, you go take care of your woman”
“Thanks, Shane I owe you one”
“You got it” Shane smiled as she heard the click on Bette’s side of the call, she smiled, she realized Bette had called her house “Home” when referring to Tina, Shane knew Bette was more than ready for the next step with her relationship with Tina, it was just too bad Bette hadn’t realized it yet.
“So, stubborn.” Shane said to herself as she got up and went to get ready.
Bette quietly walked back to her bedroom and quietly got back into bed, she resumed her position behind Tina, and brought her close placing her arm over Tina’s waist, she placed her nose to the back of Tina’s neck and took a deep breath, Bette heard Tina moan. She closed her eyes and drifted back to sleep.
This time it wasn’t the bright sun that awoke Bette it was the light kisses along her neck and chin that woke her, she smiled and brought the culprit closer to her body.
“That’s a very nice way to wake up” Bette moaned

Wow- took me about to week to read this story from beginning to end, but I’m finally all caught up. I really love this story!! You do a great job of writing the connection between these two! PPS
i’m with taluala on Bette’s reaction! can’t wait to see what is going to happen next. I really like how Tina has evolved in this story and I wonder whether her past lack of confidence is going to return now that she comes face to face with Bette’s 1st love. I still remember how Tina slipped away the first time round after she and Bette slept together because she was sure Bette wasn’t going to go to the next level. Bette always seems a one step behind but it does create good drama. Can’t wait for next post.

Bette, and you wonder why Tina gets pissed-off at you at times…… I TRULY believe the shit is going to hit the proverbial fan. Fantastic post. I cannot wait for the B&T outcome. Will Jodi, the BITCH, realize who Tina is and say something to her about Bette?????
Oh mercy, Bette will really regret not telling Tina about bitch jodi. She should have told her in the morning before they left for work. Bette brings allthis crap on herself for not telling Tina the truth and holding things back when she should be talking AND Bette does not have the right to be angry at Tina for doing her job. She should have told Tina the truth. Just hope Helena does not mention Bette. Tina probably should take Helena aside and tell her who jodi is and not to mention Bette at all in any way. That might be the best thing for the moment. DRama, drama, drama. Thanks for posting.
