Her gears turning, her eyes flames of seriously pissed off…..ness…….she is about to yell at me. My head hurts…but its that good kind of hurt that lets you know you are alive.

“Fuck you Shane………….I was stretching my legs ok…..My fucking gun shot wound that you gave me by the way was bugging me. I am not……like you. I don’t see every turn and have 50 different ways to think about who is on the other side and how can I dismember them! Don’t treat me like I am some kind of……I don’t….know……… you!”

“I am trying to save your life……..why won’t you let me?”

“You pointed a gun at my head and then felt me up. What do you want me to do?”

“Carmen…at some point The Agency will not send anymore of their agents to get me. At some point they will look to other agencies. Other agencies will not kill you first. They will do things to you that will make you pray to die. I just want you to be alright. That’s all…..I just want you….to be alright…yeah…..alright…….. Good……. Ok.”

“I don’t know the things you know. I just wanted to stretch that’s all. I get your point. We are in danger. I am in danger. We can die at any minute…I get it!” She opens the door to the Rover and retrieves the gun I left her with. She tucks it in her waist like a criminal would. She looks so damn cute doing it……she has no idea……no clue.

 I don’t think she knows a thing about the ways that certain agencies will have their way with her. The way they will drown her upside down, pouring water down her throat till her lungs burn and she begs to be beaten again. I don’t think she gets it at all. I could tell her all of it. I could tell about the question/ answer beatings; I could tell her how I watched a troop of militia men and women take turns beating a prisoner till their face gave in from the beating. I could tell her all of it but I don’t. I just can’t bring myself to say these things to her.
