Saturday’s Plan Comes Together (Time of Day 29)

She thought about Bette’s card. The card it had taken her three days to muster the courage to open. Handwritten, of course. Direct. No prefabricated sentiment.
Now, Tina was seeing Bette’s words in action. While Bette might swear that Tina knew her, the fact that Bette had chosen this method of pampering spoke volumes to Bette’s thinking of what Tina wanted, and needed.
During these thoughts, Tina realized that she must have drifted off momentarily. She awoke with a little bit of a shiver, as the water had cooled down substantially. Exiting the bath, she dried herself, and wrapped up in the robe, then headed out of the bath to see what the next stage would bring.
Inga and Rita had set up in her bedroom. First, Rita applied a facial mask, and then worked on giving Tina a pedicure and manicure.
For her fingernails and toenails, Tina picked a much richer red than she would have normally used, feeling that it went with the tenor of the day.
As Rita worked on her hands, Inga gave her a neck and scalp massage. Nothing too deep. Just enough to make her relax, and want to again fall into a nap.
Tina felt herself enjoying the sensation of two women providing these services. Even though there was nothing sexual in the delivery, this was all still very sensual. ‘In spite of all the doubters,’ she thought, ‘I am such a lesbian.’
With her eyes closed, she could imagine that at least one set of hands belonged to a different woman. A dark-eyed, caramel-skinned beauty that often inhabited her thoughts and dreams.
The foot and hand treatment continued for an unknown, but not uncomfortable, amount of time. During it all, soft music played in the room. The lights were low, with more candles providing a low, flickering light.
Upon completion of the first stage, Tina moved onto a portable massage table that had been brought into the room. Her, she found herself testing her personal bravery when Inga suggested that she slip out of the robe.
As it was just the three women in the room, Tina did so, laying on the sheet that had been placed on the table. Inga covered up Tina’s buttocks with a sheet, and started in on a more vigorous tissue massage.

Well, that didn’t go quite how I thought it would… I was all amped up for a few soft core moments… But then, I *am* a bit base. (So? At least I can admit it.) It was very sweet, though, and shows that there’s hope after all. Right then, I’m wracking my brain trying to think what Tina’s said “Yes” to… Maybe they’re going up in a hot air balloon? Lord knows Bette’s got enough to keep them going ’til Canada… Bungee jumping? Space camp? Hm, it can’t be something as tame as dinner, can it? Although, that would make up for the non-existent one they had last time. Unless, Bette *is* dinner… See? the baseness rears its head again. I’m sure whatever it is, it’ll all be very romantic, and not at all what I thought. Excellent (and lengthy! Yay!) update, pseud. Mille mercis!
Now that’s what I’m talking about, a nice long chapter, slow and stead build up…but with Tina all pampered up, I hope that she just doesn’t roll over. Bette was a complete b*tch last week and one day’s pampering doesn’t forgive the sin…certainly, it softens, but Bette still has to work at this…Thanks for the great post!!!

i have to go back and find the chapter where bette sends the card…is it the same card that she was writing when alice saw her? i wonder what Yes meant then…i think it was about Tina knowing Bette so well and letting her to get them to be “us” again

That was a very thoughtful thing for Bette to do. And it appears she thought of it all by herself which makes it even better. It means she’s thinking about Tina and what Tina needs and wants. Dinner plans is it? To make up for Bette canceling their last date? Hope so. 0r maybe Bette was asking to come over. I say Bette bring wine and get Tina drunk and go from there! Great updates pseud.

Hey, I’m the reader here! Been a long time since I wrote anything but comments. And I did one ofs, so you’ll have to figure out what’s next. But as one who did a butt-load of spring cleaning this past weekend and wishes I could afford a massage, I can understand Tina saying yes to whatever it was.
