    Tina has a date.

     

    Tina’s House……

    A few days later, Tina has her Bluetooth in her ear as she walks around her room getting dressed.

    She tosses a tan, flowy, knee-length sundress over her head and then walks to the mirror. “I’m getting dressed now…. I’m wearing a dress over the swimsuit…. because I don’t want to, Alice……”

    Tina smirks and rolls her eyes. “I’ll flaunt the puppies or whatever when appropriate…. because I don’t wanna walk out of the house with just a two-piece on; who does that? ……of course, you do….no…. the green one……” Tina rolls her eyes again. “No, Al, I told you which one I’m wearing……”

    She giggles and shakes her head. “No, I’m not wearing the Hello Dolly one, Alice…… I’m not sending you pictures…. because I don’t want to…. listen, I gotta go; I’ll call you later….” Tina once again giggles. “Yes, I know that too, now goodbye….”

    Tina shakes her head and ends the call. She then looks in the mirror to check her appearance and shrugs before hurrying out of the bedroom….

    Adams Porter Household….

     

    Bette is in the backyard watching Angie and Mickey play on the large playground set she recently bought.

    Angie hops on a step and runs but then stops and turns back when she sees Mickey struggling to keep up.

    “Come on, Mickey…” Angie says as she walks over and helps him up the small step.

    Bette chuckles and snaps a picture of Mickey trying to keep up with his sister. She then glances back when she hears the patio door open. She and Michelle lock eyes for a beat before Bette turns back to the kids.

    “Hey, I’m headed out to pick up my brother from the airport, and then we’re gonna head to my parent’s house….”

    Bette nods as she keeps her eyes on the kids. “Yep, you told me the plan already. Have a good day….”

    Michelle sighs as she steps outside and sits on the lounger beside Bette. “Are you gonna be around later tonight? Maybe we can talk, like have an actual conversation without one of us storming out of the room….”

    Bette looks at Michelle and shrugs. “Of course, I’m gonna be around. The question is, are you?”

    2. I’ve been waiting for this! I’m on the last day of my holiday vacation, I’m wrapping it up with this pt.1 and hopefully a pt. 2 is not too far away.

    4. Tina doesn’t have it easy, on the one hand she doesn’t want to meddle in Bette’s life, but on the other hand she can’t sit idly by in the face of a situation that affects a loved one…
      One more time I found the chapter short :) because I want very much to continue reading more and more. Please, I hope the next one come soon :)

I guess if I were Tina, this is one situation in which I simply could not resist getting back at Michelle for all of her public speeches on how much I (Tina) disgust her by being able to laugh and go on with my life. I would have my dinner with Julie and then take Julie over to the table and introduce her to Michelle. You know… come meet one of the gang members: Julie this is Michelle Porter… she’s married to my ex – Bette Porter and this is? Oh, I don’t believe we’ve met? (Wait for Michelle to introduce her). Well, I saw you across the room and thought I would just stop and say hi. Good to meet you (whatever her name is). Julie, I should be getting home. Alice will be bringing Angie home soon. Michelle, I’ll see you on family night? Well, goodnight.

      That way… Michelle has to make the next move. By throwing Alice’s name in the mix, it would be a clear indication that the news that Michelle was at the swanky restaurant with whomever would be all over LA by morning. So Michelle needs to make the first move and talk to Bette and soon.

    8. Tough spot to be in for Tina. On one hand, she’s thinking she should mind her business and concentrate on her date. On the other hand, Michelle has more than once gotten smart and loud with Tina, letting her know she can’t stand her. So, it would be so easy to OUT Michelle right now. I think I would take the second hand and speak to her, putting the ball in Michelle’s court, make her uncomfortable about the fact that Tina knows she’s stepping out on Bette.

    12. What a dilemma for TK. Part of me feels like Martha moted – wanting to get back at Michelle for her shitty behavior & the other part thinks like Dumplin – stay out of it.

      But Michelle certainly deserves all that’ll come her way. First class bitch all around.

      Tina is between and rock and a hard place with telling your EX about her Current Wife out and about with some other woman being VERY FRIENDLY!!!

      I know how you addressed this before in the other story, don’t know the direction you will go with this time.
