Out of Closet (TiBette time-travel romance), Ch. 67: Long road back home
Tina sighed in frustration, “How does it help us? We don’t have any of those things.”
“But we know someone who might have them,” Alice rubbed her hands in excitement.
“Who?”
“Franklin. I’m sure the museum has them in their inventory because their restoration department would need that equipment to use in their processes. We’ll just show him the last letter and see if his lab can help us to read it.”
“Oh my God, Alice. You are a genius.”
“I know,” Alice wiggled her eyebrows and looked at the kitchen clock. “They should be open in a few hours so we can call and make an appointment.”
“What should we tell Franklin? He will read the letter and might suspect something.”
“We’ll just say we found it in your attic and they were written to your great grandmother, who was also named Tina. Maybe a letter from her lover she was supposed to meet secretly because her parents wouldn’t approve her dating a married man. If you read the letter, nothing indicates that it was written by another woman.”
Tina quickly skimmed over the letter and nodded pensively, “Yes, this might work.”
“Of course it will, “ Alice said excitedly, “Stick with me, kiddo, I’ll teach you a thing or two.”
Tina chuckled softly and yawned, “I think I’m going to catch as much sleep as I can. I’m exhausted. I hope it works and we’ll get the answer tomorrow because I don’t think I can’t take another disappointment.”
Tina went back to her bedroom and tried to get some rest. The room felt stuffy and she opened the bedroom window for some cool night air. Light breeze was moving the curtains and silent murmurs of the night were offering peace to Tina’s shattered mind and spirit. She closed her eyes in content and took a deep breath, as her body relaxed. It didn’t last long. The dreams about Bette and Christina invaded her mind, disrupting her sleep and making it enable for her to relax completely.
She sat straight up in her bed, sweat breaking out all over her face with a feeling that something was not right. Was her deep and unbreakable connection with Bette giving her a premonition that something horrible might have happened to Bette in the past? Was it just too much wine that was making her paranoid and restless?

Hi! Thank you for your decision to continue and finish this story!
So, about the chapter – i must say i never like Helena. In some stories and TLW i hate her, in some stories i indifferent to her. In your story – first option.
But i hope Bette was not too late and it was her in bed with Tina.
Waiting for the final chapter!
O-M-G!! You made my day. Hell, my entire year. Wonderful update. Such imagination with the entire plot line. Great character arc for Bette. Love, love, love this story. So happy we’ll finally learn how it turns out. No pressure now, but I think a fitting day to post your final chapter is October 18, the 10th anniversary of Chapter 1.
BetteAndTinaForever
Wow, it was about time, I honestly was thinking to send you another pm as the last year, asking you for a new chapter; but is fine, I have problems with my time too, jobs are always in the way.
As Zhenya, I also pray that the one beside Tina is Bette and no the psycho of Helena.
I hope you could update soon, and write another story later, maybe a little bit shorter because of the time, but I really would like to read more of your stories, this is so good, please, keep writing.
Thanks for the update and again, please post soon.

Finally!!! It does not matter to wait a year to read this story because they are so good that it’s worth it, but please finish it before I’m dying to know the end (an ending that many pages). Congratulations and thanks.
what an exciting chapter!! can’t wait for the next!!!
thank you!!!
BetteandTinaForever,
It is now the last day in August 9 days since you posted this Chapter.
I have done a complete re-read and enjoyed it more, I think, than the first read. although, as a 75 year old, I am a little disturbed that all your Grandma characters seem to be in homes and losing their minds!
Please, Please post the Final Chapter of this great story this weekend and make my day! Certainly do not wait until October – I love CellaNox but think this a stupid idea! :-)
This is a great story and I will be sorry to see it end and will be first in line to ask for an Epilogue
Living in hope

I agree with SassyGran – if you can – don’t wait until October to post last chapter!
Great to see a new chapter of this wonderful story, I’m hoping Bette showed up in the knick of time kicked Helena’s ass and fell asleep waiting for the drug to wear off. They really don’t need this type of crap after all they have been through. PPS
You are not forgetting about us, aren’t you? Please, finish this great story!
Hi! Still waiting for the last chapter!
