    I have changed the title a bit but it is the follow up from “Merry Christmas,Bette”, but Christams is long over so my title needs ajusting.Where will Bette be at New Year?

    As Tina was on the phone, the words ‘ You’ve got mail’ appeared on her screen but for the first time today, she was not exited about it. The message she got on the phone distracted her completely. It was her uncle, telling her that her mother wasn’t well, she was in the hospital. Tina’s mind was making overtime, in her head she was already making plans for her way home.She felt worried, a bit sick of worries, and felt the need to leave immediately. She promised her uncle to be there soon and after she had put down the phone she placed her face in her hands. If there was only somebody to share her worries with now. She opened her eyes, looked at the screen, she saw the words and opened her inbox. She clicked on the message, it was short but very clear;” Shall we meet? B. “ Her heart skipped a beat but the timing was bad. It couldn’t be worse, now that she was in need of somebody, Bette wanted to see her. She decided to reply quick, not to keep Bette waiting.” Sorry, I can’t now.” She didn’t explain why, she didn’t want to bother Bette with her problems.

    Bette just had her shower and came back in her bedroom. She looked at her screen while she took some clothes out of the wardrobe. The screen showed that there was a new message, she felt the excitement in her stomach. She read the words and felt the excitement fade away, Tina didn’t want to see her. Bette felt confused and stupid at the same time. Had she misunderstood the message on the card? Now what? She decided to tell Alice and walked out of the room to find Alice. Luckily she was still in her bedroom. She walked in without knocking “Hey, where are your manners?” Alice said loud but seeing the face of Bette, she went quiet. “What’s up?” “ She doesn’t want to see me. I don’t understand, I must have misinterpreted her ecard. “What did she write?” Alice asked as she took Bette’s hand and sat down with her on the bed.” Not much, only that she can’t see me now.” “ She can’t or she don’t want?” “No, she said, she can’t.” Bette repeated. Alice took her cell phone “ What are you doing?” “I’m going to call her. I will ask her if she is okay, I won’t ask anything else. I just want to hear if she is okay and if she has any plans for the new year.” Alice replied as she was already dialing the number.

    4. Way to go Alice. So Bette can’t get Tina out of her head and heart, and of course that goes for Tina not able to rid her brain of thoughts of Bette. Can’t wait to read what happens next. Are you still going to finish the other story? Hope your new plans work well for you.

    11. Hey B-Gal, Great to have you back on the board and posting more of this intriguing dtory. I just love a Bette and Tina reuniting tale. I was upset that Tina had said no to Bette but thank the heavens and stars for Alice. This time she was worth her wait in gold as she discovered the truth about Tina’s instant refusal and then sorted out Bette to go and look after her woman. Fabulous and fantastic. Am loving it.
