    I have changed the title a bit but it is the follow up from “Merry Christmas,Bette”, but Christams is long over so my title needs ajusting.Where will Bette be at New Year?

    Tina sat down at her desk with a fresh coffee, she always took a small detour to Starbucks to get a nice coffee to take with her. She didn’t bother making any coffee at home, she always got up last minute, had a quick shower, made a toast with cheese and jumped in her car. She used to love the mornings, but not alone, and since she had been in Vancouver she slept bad so she needed every minute of sleep in the morning. Therefore is was much handier to get the coffee on her way to work, even when it was Starbucks’ coffee.

    The day after Christmas she had gone back to work, she should be out of the office till beginning of January but she had come back. She had no reason to stay at home, she had nothing to do but thinking of the disastrous Christmas. So it was better to get her mind on other things, and at work it was busy so it was easy.
    The last year she had been leading some big project to a good end and that was not gone unnoticed by the director. But this new confidence had let to more work, interesting work but lots more. Tina spend a lot of time at her work or for her work, actually her private life was based on her work since her brake up with Bette.

    She opened her mail and looked through the list to make a first selection of the most important ones. Sometimes she was amazed by the amount of mails that was gathered overnight. It seemed like there were a lot more people in this business who had no interesting things to do in their private life. She saw all the every day names in her inbox and some new ones that seemed not too urgent. There was one mail that caught her eye, a mail from a card company saying “ You received an ecard”. She raised her eyebrows, nobody she knew would bother doing that, so she was curious who took the small effort to do so. She took a sip of her coffee while she pressed her mouse to open the mail.

    The mail was sent by a gay card internetsite, she opened the link with her eyebrows even more raised. There were not many people who knew she was gay, as a matter of fact it was only her friends in LA, the friends she had met through Bette. The card was shown on her screen, it showed a woman lying in a bath with her eyes closed. Nothing was shown, no naked private parts, just a face, a shoulder, a bit of a knee and a glass of red wine. The text with it was “ To be honest………..I was thinking and fantasizing about you.” No personal message and the sender’s name was signed with B x.

    4. Way to go Alice. So Bette can’t get Tina out of her head and heart, and of course that goes for Tina not able to rid her brain of thoughts of Bette. Can’t wait to read what happens next. Are you still going to finish the other story? Hope your new plans work well for you.

    11. Hey B-Gal, Great to have you back on the board and posting more of this intriguing dtory. I just love a Bette and Tina reuniting tale. I was upset that Tina had said no to Bette but thank the heavens and stars for Alice. This time she was worth her wait in gold as she discovered the truth about Tina’s instant refusal and then sorted out Bette to go and look after her woman. Fabulous and fantastic. Am loving it.
