    I have changed the title a bit but it is the follow up from “Merry Christmas,Bette”, but Christams is long over so my title needs ajusting.Where will Bette be at New Year?

    In the mean time Tina was working at her desk, she had a busy day but she was not focusing enough. She was checking her emails many times to see if there were new messages, there were many but not from that one particular person. She wondered if she had been too eager, to quick in her response and if the card she had sent was too much. It kept her mind busy and there for her work was slow today. Her mind was also occupied with the question why Bette sent her the ecard, she was with her girlfriend so why think of her? Okay, she could be thinking of her, after their last good bye but why sending her such a card? And after her reply there was nothing, it was all a bit confusing for Tina. Luckily, there was no urgent work as nobody knew she was back in the office already. It was just frustrating for herself, not being productive because of a stupid ecard.And while she was trying to read some documents for the second time, her phone rang.

    Alice walked up the veranda with two hot chocolates, pure chocolate drinks no alcohol in it. Bette and she had come back from the slopes after Alice had made some kind of excuse and they had placed themselves on the veranda in the fresh cold air. Somehow Alice felt that this environment was good for the things Bette was going to say. “Okay then, tell me, we don’t have too long before the others return. What is the urgent matter? Are you getting married? Are you splitting up with Freddy? Are you pregnant? Do I miss a question?” Alice started to make Bette come to the point as soon as possible. “ Alice, please, this is serious stuff.” “Then tell me.” Bette took a big gasp of breath before she said” I still miss her. I still miss Tina. I realized it this morning when she was gone.” Bette looked at Alice, holding her warm cup with two hands. Alice looked at Bette’s face, looking in her eyes, seeing the truth of her words. “ I thought was over her, I thought that I left her behind me. I thought I found new love with Freddy and somehow I do but it is not the same as it was with Tina. When I saw her again, I thought I felt nothing for her any more but I do. I was alone with her last night in the kitchen after you all had gone to bed. It wasn’t planned, it was just coincidence and no Alice nothing happened.” “Hey, I am saying anything.” “No, but your face says enough.” Bette replies with a small smile.

    4. Way to go Alice. So Bette can’t get Tina out of her head and heart, and of course that goes for Tina not able to rid her brain of thoughts of Bette. Can’t wait to read what happens next. Are you still going to finish the other story? Hope your new plans work well for you.

    11. Hey B-Gal, Great to have you back on the board and posting more of this intriguing dtory. I just love a Bette and Tina reuniting tale. I was upset that Tina had said no to Bette but thank the heavens and stars for Alice. This time she was worth her wait in gold as she discovered the truth about Tina’s instant refusal and then sorted out Bette to go and look after her woman. Fabulous and fantastic. Am loving it.
