Roxy talked a good game, but would Alice listen to her words and plant doubt in her mind?
After a lengthy talk with Kristin and few phone calls later, Dana went back into her bedroom to take a short nap. Her eyes still burning from tears and the lack of sleep. She would get a very short one hour nap, before she had a visitor…. her Mom.
Sharon nudged her daughter…
Sharon – Dana… sweetie, wake up.
Dana rubbing her eyes…groggily speaking…
Dana – Mom?
Her mother pushing the hair from her face.
Dana – Oh, Mom….
And with that, she starts the water works….. crying on her mom’s shoulder.
Sharon – Shhhhh….
Dana sobbing uncontrollably. Sharon felt helpless. All she could do was hold her and wait for the tears to stop.
Sharon wasn’t a woman that allowed her feelings to rule over her which was why Dana’s display was so awkwark for her. However, when Dana’s defenses were down Sharon had a way of getting through to her daughter. She just hoped it wasn’t too little, too late. Sharon handed Dana a tissue. Now came the time to tell Dana why she was really there….
Sharon – Do you feel better now?
Dana nodding.
Sharon – You want to tell me what that was about?
Dana – Alice and I had a fight. Now she won’t talk to me.
Sharon – I know about the fight.
Dana – You do?
Sharon – Yes… Alice called me a little bit ago.
Dana – She did? But I thought…
Sharon – Thought it was over?
Dana – Yes.
Sharon – Just because you had a fight, doesn’t mean it’s over, Dana. You and Alice fight a lot, but you always work it out.
Dana – This is different though…. everything is.
Sharon – I know your relationship has changed, but Alice hasn’t. She’s still the same person, but now you need to figure out how you two are as a couple. Don’t throw in the towel, because things aren’t going like you expect them to. You love her, am I right?
Dana – Yes…. with all my heart.
Sharon fell silent…..
Dana – Mom… why are you really here? And why are you being so supportive?

Great Update! Roxy was right about them stopping because of her hesitation. How long can Alice hold her off?
So yes, as you said, this chapter had allot of drama and crap in it but I appreciate the bit of hope you give us in the last paragraph. I know that once the truth comes out Dana will be upset with Alice but in the end they’ll be together. I just hate that Roxy keeps toying with Alice- especially when she’s vulnerable. I’m glad Alice is determined to show Dana how much she means to her but Alice needs to tell Dana the truth soon. You have me curious as to what the hell’s up with Lara’s body (or missing body as the case may be)…I’m still waiting for Dana to get better and for the scorching hot sex to be had ;) Great job as usual and thanks for the comment! Can’t wait till the update…
Wow I grovel at your feet, this will be the third time I’ve read this chapter and I can’t not love it. I tried and failed miserably, Alice needs to get her ass in gear and tell Dana, things are only going to get worse and when the shit hits the fan, they better have a good cleaning lady. I loved the shopping scene, and all the bickering, man Alice you have it hard you’ve got Dana Tony Gina and Roxy all dying to be with you the stress must be otherwordly. Meanwhile I can’t get a glance but that’s ok…whatever. Anyway great chapter again (but you don’t need me to tell you that for you to know it’s amazing). Update soon (but I’ll keep on you and make sure it happens) :)

Thank you for your sweet comment. :D You got me worried there… When I didn’t find an update of this story in the last couple of days, I thought you left me! :P As long as you keep writing this wonderful story (I can’t believe it’s the 40th chapter either!), I’ll keep commenting. :D I’m really curious what’s in that clock. Time will tell, I will try to wait patiently… :S A lot of fighting this chapter. The tension (in all of its meaning) is still building up, nice. :)Poor Dana tough (actually poor all of them), I wonder how she will react when she hears the whole truth. Roxy’s plans to win Alice over always seem to backfire on her in the end, don’t they? :D As you probably can guess, Roxy’s plans are working for me, because they get Alice more drawn to Dana. When did Sharon Fairbanks become so nice and supportive? I think it’s sweet that Alice called her out of concern for Dana. And I justed wanted to say that – in my opinion – the doctor can give Dana an OK (on Dana being healed) in the near future. If the doctor doesn’t want to, they can come to me. I mean if that’s the only thing that’s standing in the way of hot Danish love making, I can pretend to have a medical background and give Dana an OK. :P
Here’s my happy ending…The mob starts gunning for Roxy, The FBI kicks her out for misconduct, she now must fend for herself. Shane catches wind of all this Roxy crap and has some of her old street pals rough her up. Soon the mob catches up to Roxy and she is sleepin’ with the fishes. Dana and Alice confess all of their sins and live happily ever after.

Drama, drama, drama…I loved every bit of it. Roxy is a piece of work but she doesn’t seem te be getting closer to Alice as she wants. That’s a good thing though. I think that Dana hates Roxy as much as I do. Loved Kirstens part in it and cannot wait to find out what happened to Lara’s body!! And Sharon to the rescue, who knew! Go Sharon, make your daughter see the light. Hope Alice tells Dana the truth about her and Roxy just to get that over with. Brteyes you had me for 13 pages and I’m counting the days for the next update. Thanks your great!
