Sharon – You better believe it. I guess with Alice around I won’t have to worry about you so much.
Dana – Are you telling me that you approve of Alice?
Sharon – You could do a lot worse.
According to Dana, that was Sharon’s way of saying that Alice was the right woman for her.
Dana – Thanks… now I just need to make things right again with Alice.
Sharon – I don’t think you’ll have to try very hard or at all for that matter.
Dana was smiling again.
Dana – Could you do me a favor while you’re here? I’m kinda hungry. I didn’t eat breakfast and I sure could go for some lunch.
Sharon – Say no more. I’ll whip something up.
Dana got up and followed her mom into the kitchen. Kristen came into the kitchen to help with the lunch and all three of them sat down and ate together.
Alice’s lunch with Tony wasn’t quite so pleasant but at least this time he didn’t play his usual games. Alice was too distracted to really care what Tony thought of her anyway. What good would it do to try so hard? Everytime Alice tried, it usually ended up a disaster. People are going to think what they want to regardless of what you do or don’t do. Just like the discussion she had with Sharon. Alice was almost sure Sharon was upset with her, but that didn’t matter. What mattered was making Dana happy. Showing Dana that she really did love her. Roxy tried her best to put doubt in her mind but it had the opposite effect. The clock was small stuff in comparison to the topics that would come up… effecting both of their lives. Whatever reason Dana had for wanting to keep the clock, no longer bothered her. What would bother her was losing Dana over something so trivial. Poor Roxy had no idea that her plan had backfired, because of her interference Alice vowed to try harder. She wanted to make it impossible for Dana to easily dismiss her from her life when the secret came out. Alice could foresee a separation when Dana heard the truth from her…. but she was going to make sure it was a brief one.
TBC – I hope it was worth all the drama. It’s getting closer for something to happen… I hope you stick with me. Tell me your comments!

Great Update! Roxy was right about them stopping because of her hesitation. How long can Alice hold her off?
So yes, as you said, this chapter had allot of drama and crap in it but I appreciate the bit of hope you give us in the last paragraph. I know that once the truth comes out Dana will be upset with Alice but in the end they’ll be together. I just hate that Roxy keeps toying with Alice- especially when she’s vulnerable. I’m glad Alice is determined to show Dana how much she means to her but Alice needs to tell Dana the truth soon. You have me curious as to what the hell’s up with Lara’s body (or missing body as the case may be)…I’m still waiting for Dana to get better and for the scorching hot sex to be had ;) Great job as usual and thanks for the comment! Can’t wait till the update…
Wow I grovel at your feet, this will be the third time I’ve read this chapter and I can’t not love it. I tried and failed miserably, Alice needs to get her ass in gear and tell Dana, things are only going to get worse and when the shit hits the fan, they better have a good cleaning lady. I loved the shopping scene, and all the bickering, man Alice you have it hard you’ve got Dana Tony Gina and Roxy all dying to be with you the stress must be otherwordly. Meanwhile I can’t get a glance but that’s ok…whatever. Anyway great chapter again (but you don’t need me to tell you that for you to know it’s amazing). Update soon (but I’ll keep on you and make sure it happens) :)

Thank you for your sweet comment. :D You got me worried there… When I didn’t find an update of this story in the last couple of days, I thought you left me! :P As long as you keep writing this wonderful story (I can’t believe it’s the 40th chapter either!), I’ll keep commenting. :D I’m really curious what’s in that clock. Time will tell, I will try to wait patiently… :S A lot of fighting this chapter. The tension (in all of its meaning) is still building up, nice. :)Poor Dana tough (actually poor all of them), I wonder how she will react when she hears the whole truth. Roxy’s plans to win Alice over always seem to backfire on her in the end, don’t they? :D As you probably can guess, Roxy’s plans are working for me, because they get Alice more drawn to Dana. When did Sharon Fairbanks become so nice and supportive? I think it’s sweet that Alice called her out of concern for Dana. And I justed wanted to say that – in my opinion – the doctor can give Dana an OK (on Dana being healed) in the near future. If the doctor doesn’t want to, they can come to me. I mean if that’s the only thing that’s standing in the way of hot Danish love making, I can pretend to have a medical background and give Dana an OK. :P
Here’s my happy ending…The mob starts gunning for Roxy, The FBI kicks her out for misconduct, she now must fend for herself. Shane catches wind of all this Roxy crap and has some of her old street pals rough her up. Soon the mob catches up to Roxy and she is sleepin’ with the fishes. Dana and Alice confess all of their sins and live happily ever after.

Drama, drama, drama…I loved every bit of it. Roxy is a piece of work but she doesn’t seem te be getting closer to Alice as she wants. That’s a good thing though. I think that Dana hates Roxy as much as I do. Loved Kirstens part in it and cannot wait to find out what happened to Lara’s body!! And Sharon to the rescue, who knew! Go Sharon, make your daughter see the light. Hope Alice tells Dana the truth about her and Roxy just to get that over with. Brteyes you had me for 13 pages and I’m counting the days for the next update. Thanks your great!
