    Tina crisis avoided – Susan forewarned in Bette the Great style; Bette puts Shane and Angelica in charge – Awwright!

     

    “Susan?”

     

    “Yeah.”

     

    “Just remember and keep this in your memory bank, she’s my sweetie, understand? Do I need to elucidate that any further for you?”

     

    “What? Of course, I know that.”  Christ, did Tina read my mind and tell Bette?  “Did I do something wrong, Bette?  Did I offend Tina in some way?  If I did, I certainly didn’t mean to.”

     

    “No, not all.  I just want things to be explicitly clear. I’m just a wee bit protective of Tina and my family.”

     

    “Hey, I can understand that.”

     

    “Good. I’m glad we have that understanding.  Well, the yard looks great.  Thanks so much.  We’ll catch up with you later.”

     

    “Okay, Bette.  Probably see you at The Planet.”

     

    Bette walked back into the house.  All right, maybe I overreacted on the subtle threat but one can never be too sure.  I am so ***** jealousokay, Porter, you need to work on that.  Tina’s not going anywhere.  It’s unknown othersand some known ones that I don’t trust.  You can ***** with me, but don’t you dare ***** with Tina or my child. No one is taking away my alpha status when it comes to them.  No one.

     

     

     

    Susan was finishing up and getting ready to leave.  She thought back on the brief discourse with Bette.  I better not even think anything when I’m in Tina’s company.  I’m still the newbie here, an outsider.  I’ve got to talk to her at some point.  I don’t want any kind of misunderstanding between us.   One thing I’ve learned in this short time though:  There’s no way on this earth I want to feel the wrath of Bette Porter and/or or her friends when it comes to their relationship.  I have a feeling if I did do something wrong, someone would be covering me with mulch.

     

    Careful, Susan, don’t blow this.  This is too good a deal to go down the drain.

    Tina was walked into the living room carrying Angelica and handed her to Bette.

     

    “See, there’s your other mommy.  I told you she came home early.”

     

    Angelica’s eyes get sparkly and she makes happy sounds as soon as she sees Bette.

    2. RC…that was great! Tina shouldn’t so easily dismiss her instincts. She “knows” something isn’t right about Susan…she should go with her feelings. Love that Shane will come to the rescue. Equally loved that Bette had a discussion with Susan. I don’t think we’ve seen the total capacity of the Porter Scare…and that could be scary. LOL. Bette will do anything to protect Tina & Angelica. I’m glad Bette talked to Tina about Peggy’s offer…it’s always good to talk things through. RC…love your story. The drama is thickening…let’s hope the outcome is very good for Bette & Tina. ;-)

    4. As Shane would say, “so f&%king cute.” I am enjoying this story and having Shane as a protector is very good. I so wish Tina would take serious note of her instinct about Susan and tell Bette what she is thinking and why. Alice needs to know so that she can do her own investigating, she has an eerie feeling also. Love the story. The plot thickens.

    7. Wonderful chapter, its nice to see some drama was avoided, or rather abruptly haulted once Mama Bette got home. I’m glad to see Peggy is willing to be there for Bette and her family, but the thought of Hellena finding out these plans seems much too strong. Please post again soon.

    8. Shane & Bette arriving at the same time was pretty cool. LMAO @ .38 caliber plate.

      One last comment, I love when Bette does the baby talk thing with Angelica…too cute for words!

    10. I like the agressive Bette when it comes to her family. I hope nothing realy bad happens to them. I want to know more about Susan and her role in all this. Post soon
