The three sit talking for the next couple of hours just like old times, it was like the many evenings they spent together sat in Alices apartment in London, laughing and joking with her family, she missed this and it made her slightly sad and long to be in the safety of her apartment back home, with no worries , no troubles, just life.

It was nearing midnight and Dana had still not called.  Alice was disappointed but thought maybe Dana was a little worried to talk to her.  She looked so sad and lost this afternoon, she couldn’t remember the last time she saw Dana like that. Alice decided not to dwell on the fact that Dana hadn’t called and went to bed.  She would call tomorrow for sure, that’s what Alice secretly hoped.

Dana woke to the sound of her door “what the fuck” she fell off the couch, picked herself off the floor and went to answer her door.

Kate – Dana your not ready

Dana – ready for what?

Kate – training, and you look like shit

Dana – I fell asleep on the couch last night, fuck

Kate – what’s up?

Dana- I was meant to call Alice last night but I fell asleep

Kate – well im sure she’ll live, come on get your ass in gear and lets go train, the tournament is only three weeks away Dana.

Dana – ok ok

Dana trained hard all day it took her a while to get focused but with alot of nagging from Kate Dana goon got into it.  Kate and Dana walked back to the SUV

Kate – Dana that was a great days training eventually when you focused.

Dana – yeah it was, sorry about earlier

Kate – we really need to sit and go through some tapes of our opponents Dane this tournament is sneaking up really quickly

Dana – I know im sorry i’ve been a little pre-occupied lately

Kate – that’s ok don’t worry, but you need to stay focused or we are gonna get our asses kicked.

Another day was drawing to a close and Alice still hadn’t heard from Dana, she was beginning to think that maybe she had upset her.  Alice just wanted Dana to know that she needed time, maybe that’s what she’s giving me Alice thought “god im so confused”
