(Bette looks at Chloe with worry in her eyes)

Tina:”Ok”

(Jay accidentally touches Chloe’s arm)

Jay: “Chloe you are frozen, here put my hoody on”

(Bette also gets up and puts the fire on)

Tina: “Ok next thing, the way you two have been treating your mom is disgraceful and im very disappointed in you. It was not your Mom’s fault she got the job there it is the closest school to us that is not our fault”

Jay: “See it from our point how do you think we feel calling our Mom miss. Also if any of our mates or anyone else for that matter gets into trouble automatically it will be our fault”

(Chloe gets up and walks out of the living room and upstairs to her room)

(Bette goes to go after her but Jay stops her)

Jay: “Mom I really wouldn’t do that. You are not her favourite person right now”

Bette: “Seem’s like I am not yours either Jay” (sitting back down and looking at Jay)

Jay: “I’ll admit it I was pretty bummed at you getting the job but that was only because I was scared of how things would be. Sort of like you would expect more from me because I am your son.” (Looking at the floor)

Bette: “Jay I didn’t take the job to upset you and Chloe. I took the Job so we have more money coming into this household. And I won’t expect more from you our Chloe I am already so proud off you both.”

Jay: “Ok im sorry for my behaviour and the way I spoke to you. But im still not so sure Chloe will be”

Tina: “Ok what do you know which we don’t”

Jay: “Well you see mom gave Lisa a punishment exercise and Chloe got the blame for it”

Bette: “So Lisa attacked Chloe” (putting her Head in her hands)

Jay: “Yeah”

Bette: “I assumed Chloe was picking a fight to get into trouble”

Jay: “I know and so does Chloe that’s why she was so angry”

Tina: “It was still no excuse for the way she spoke to your mom”

Jay: “Yeah but she was bleeding and hurt and Mom just said my classroom now to her”
