Previously

(Jay is driving and Sean is looking about when his mobile goes)

Sean: “Babe where the hell are you we have been worried sick”

Chloe: “who is with you?”

Sean: “Jay where are you?”

Chloe: “Ok before I tell you please promise me you won’t tell anyone where I am”

(Jay hears this and shouts we promise)

Chloe: “Ok I am at the beach”

Sean: “She is at the beach” (Talking to Jay)

Sean: “Ok Babe hold tight we will be there soon I love you”

Chapter 19

The Beach

(Sean and Jay run down the beach. They find Chloe sitting close to the water with her legs hunched right into her chest)

Sean: “hey baby are you ok” (Taking off his jacket and putting it over Chloe)

Chloe: “Yeah im fine”

Jay: “We should prob get that lip seen too it looks like it needs stitches”

Sean: “Yeah I agree”

Chloe: “Funny enough so do I it hurts like a bitch”

(They all laugh and Sean pulls Chloe up and they head to the hospital)

(After getting 5 stitches in her lip and her eye cleaned up they head home to face the music)

At Home

(Tina and Bette stand up the minute Jay and Chloe walk in)

Tina: “Where the hell have you been?”

Jay: “Mum” (Putting his keys up)

Tina: “Jay let your sister talk”

Jay:”Jesus man, look at her lip and her eye or did you not notice that part. She cant talk she had to get 5 stitches and the anaesthetic hasn’t wore off yet”

Tina: “right ok fair enough. Jay watch the way you speak to me im not one of the assholes out on the street im you’re Mum or have you forgot that part. Right the two of you on the sofa NOW!”

(Jay and Chloe both go to the sofa opposite Bette)

Tina: “First thing what did the doctor say?” (Sitting next to Bette)

Jay: “They said that she is not to talk for at least an hour and has to clean both her lip and the cut next to her eye with antiseptic. She also might have concussion so we have to keep an eye on her and that she’s to stay off school for the rest of the week. Oh yeah and she has to drink loads of fluids”
