We are going to be okay. I know we will. Maybe some day we will be friends and be able to look back on this and laugh. You will be some one I tell my grandchildren about. I never really liked playing softball. You know that. I only played for my Dad and for you. It’s not something I want to do anymore. I am moving to London where I got a job at the BBC and I am going to be taking classes at Oxford.
New horizons await us both. If I learned anything from you it was how to love and that you never get a bad without a good following it. I hope the good for you is great. If you are ever in London, which I am sure you will be seeing as how the US plays the UK in November, look me up. Maybe the three of us can get some dinner or something. Don’t forget to always laugh and be happy. You deserve it.

Jess put the letter down and wiped the tears out of her eyes. She smiled after reading the last line.
"Jess?" Tina said.
"Hmmm." Jess said.
"Are you okay?" Bette asked.
"Yeah. I am glad I read this and didn’t burn it." Jess said.
"I’m glad." Tina said.
"What does it say?" Bette asked. Tina looked at her. Tina didn’t approve of Bette prying.
"Here you can read it." Jess said she handed the letter to Tina. Tina looked at it and then read it out loud. Tina and Bette both wiped the tears our their eyes several times during the letter.
"That’s amazing." Bette said.
"Yeah, I going to go put it up and then I am going to bed." Jess said. She had gotten final closure.
"Okay honey. Will we see you in the morning?" Bette asked.
"Not unless you are up earlier than usual. I have to be at practice at 6." Jess said.
"Then I guess we will see you Wednesday night." Tina said.
"You promised me lunch on Tuesday or have you forgotten." Jess said.
"No I haven’t. I wasn’t sure you were still available." Tina said.
"I cleared my schedule every Tuesday between now and Christmas." Jess said. She was excited about spending one on one time with Tina again.
"Hey Jess. Shannon is bringing Hillary home on Tuesday why don’t you bring Cat." Bette said.
"Not yet. We haven’t officially started dating yet. She took me out tonight only to cheer me up. She is giving me some space for a little while.
Up Next: Family Dinner with Hillary. The trip to Spain.

I hate this chapter… I mean I don’t beleive that Laurie is so good and truly wishes that Jess and Cat will be happy together.I know that they both are so young but few chapters before they seemed so in love!I know that maybe they will be apart some time but end like this? I don’t think so! You could done a lot of better. I mean I was hoping some kind of a bizarre love triangule.I hate the way this story goes right now. I love Laure!Anyway that all I have to say! I already hate Cat. I hope she breaks Jessie heart’s very soon!bye!!!!!!

Well, what a change, I thought those two were good together also but with Jess, we do have ayoung Bette in the making with a little bit of Tina thrown in for good measure. laurie is a very wise young lady and realized that it had to end. Sorry for them both but as she said good things are waiting for both of them. Maybe Cat is the one. Thanks for a lovely chapter.
Laurie’s letter to Jess was amazing. I was tearing up reading this. I hope they both get the most out of life and stay freinds.

Well hell. I liked Laurie, dammit. lol I guess this shows things don’t always go according to plan. If they always did, I would have celebrated my 4th wedding anniversary on June 27 with the guy I was with starting 9 years ago. Talk about a bad ending to an even worse marriage. =p
Okay so I was right, which I usually like, but now I want to be wrong. Why did Cat have to come back? Laurie and Jess we best friends b4 they didnt. Now they got nothing. Well, they both seem happy so this thing w/Cat better be good, because I thought Laurie and Jess had something :-) Great chapter!

I am glad that Jess got closure and that it didn’t end badly. Both girls were VERY mature with their approach to the end of their relationship and I am sure that they will later restore their friendship. Look at Bette and Alice for example. I am looking to foward to seeing how Shannon and Hillary’s relationship evolves. GREAT chapter charmed :o)

Charmed, Thank you for that closure with Laurie. It seems that Laurie picked up on the instant vibes between Jess and Cat. It is just that Laurie and Jess was brilliant together. Here’s hoping that Cat will bring out the best in Jess as well. The way that Jess opened up to her moms was precious. Loved it. Loks like there are interesting time ahead. I can’t wait. That was bittersweet! :( Well damn too cause I liked Laurie as well. I hope they can be good friends in the future. I am going to see how you flesh out Cat’s character, she seems nice…. lol. Have a great vacation!
I was nice to see that Jess let both her moms see the softer side of herself. Hopefully Cat and Jess will be able to have a good relationship. I will miss Laurie and hope that she finds a good life for herself. Now hopefully Shannon and Jess are both putting their lives back together and continue to working on being good sisters to each other. Got to love Bette and Tina. Have a nice vacation and then back to the woods.
Laurie is and was a very wise young lady. She knew in her heart that Jesse wasn’t her soulmate. That person had already came into Jesse life.Once you find them you can never let them go completely. Thanks for posting again

This was touching! this letter just show how much Laurie love Jess cause even she loves her so much she is letting go Jess in order to Jess find the true love with her soulmate! is amazing if you decide that cat is the jess’s soulmate is ok but i thing that maybe in the next game Jess will understand who really is her soulmate!
I loved laurie but at least they have parted on good terms and I hope that they become the best of friends some where down the line great update
