"I know." Jess said.
"Is she really moving to London?" Bette asked.
"It appears that way. She left this letter for me under my pillow before she left." Jess said.
"What does it say?" Bette asked.
"I don’t know. I haven’t read it and I don’t know if I ever will." Jess said.
"Why?" Bette said.
"Because I have already found some closure and started the next stage in my life and I don’t want to bring all the hurt back in." Jess said.
Bette thought for a moment.
"Next Stage?" Bette asked.
"Yes. I think I am actually going to happy." Jess said.
"I am confused." Bette said. Both of them were watching the lights.
"She wonderful Mom. I don’t know how I ever let her go before." Jess said.
"Okay slow down. I am still a little confused. Who is this new wonderful person." Bette said.
"Well she isn’t exactly new." Jess said.
"It’s someone you have been out with before." Bette said.
"Yes. We were pretty serious for awhile." Jess said.
"Okay. Then I probably know the person right." Bette said.
"You do but you didn’t know about us." Jess said she was sitting facing Bette now. Jess had hid Cat because she knew that Bette and Tina wouldn’t approve the age difference. Cat was 3 and half years older than Jess. They knew that they were close friends but not that they were dating or that Cat was Jess’s first girlfriend.
"I didn’t?" Bette said.
"No, and I want to tell you but you have to promise not to freak out." Jess said.
"Me Freak out." Bette said.
"Mom." Jess said giving Bette a classic Porter look.
"Okay I promise. Tell me." Bette said.
"It’s Cat." Jess said and prepared for Bette to wake the neighborhood.
"Cat?" Bette said.
"yeah she was my first and we dated until she went off to college." Jess said. Bette winced at the words She was my first.
"And now?" Bette said trying to stay calm. She never liked to hear or think about her baby in any kind of physical relationship of any kind, but she was glad that Jess felt comfortable talking to her about it.

I hate this chapter… I mean I don’t beleive that Laurie is so good and truly wishes that Jess and Cat will be happy together.I know that they both are so young but few chapters before they seemed so in love!I know that maybe they will be apart some time but end like this? I don’t think so! You could done a lot of better. I mean I was hoping some kind of a bizarre love triangule.I hate the way this story goes right now. I love Laure!Anyway that all I have to say! I already hate Cat. I hope she breaks Jessie heart’s very soon!bye!!!!!!

Well, what a change, I thought those two were good together also but with Jess, we do have ayoung Bette in the making with a little bit of Tina thrown in for good measure. laurie is a very wise young lady and realized that it had to end. Sorry for them both but as she said good things are waiting for both of them. Maybe Cat is the one. Thanks for a lovely chapter.

Well hell. I liked Laurie, dammit. lol I guess this shows things don’t always go according to plan. If they always did, I would have celebrated my 4th wedding anniversary on June 27 with the guy I was with starting 9 years ago. Talk about a bad ending to an even worse marriage. =p
Okay so I was right, which I usually like, but now I want to be wrong. Why did Cat have to come back? Laurie and Jess we best friends b4 they didnt. Now they got nothing. Well, they both seem happy so this thing w/Cat better be good, because I thought Laurie and Jess had something :-) Great chapter!

I am glad that Jess got closure and that it didn’t end badly. Both girls were VERY mature with their approach to the end of their relationship and I am sure that they will later restore their friendship. Look at Bette and Alice for example. I am looking to foward to seeing how Shannon and Hillary’s relationship evolves. GREAT chapter charmed :o)

Charmed, Thank you for that closure with Laurie. It seems that Laurie picked up on the instant vibes between Jess and Cat. It is just that Laurie and Jess was brilliant together. Here’s hoping that Cat will bring out the best in Jess as well. The way that Jess opened up to her moms was precious. Loved it. Loks like there are interesting time ahead. I can’t wait. I was nice to see that Jess let both her moms see the softer side of herself. Hopefully Cat and Jess will be able to have a good relationship. I will miss Laurie and hope that she finds a good life for herself. Now hopefully Shannon and Jess are both putting their lives back together and continue to working on being good sisters to each other. Got to love Bette and Tina. Have a nice vacation and then back to the woods.
Laurie is and was a very wise young lady. She knew in her heart that Jesse wasn’t her soulmate. That person had already came into Jesse life.Once you find them you can never let them go completely. Thanks for posting again

This was touching! this letter just show how much Laurie love Jess cause even she loves her so much she is letting go Jess in order to Jess find the true love with her soulmate! is amazing if you decide that cat is the jess’s soulmate is ok but i thing that maybe in the next game Jess will understand who really is her soulmate!
I loved laurie but at least they have parted on good terms and I hope that they become the best of friends some where down the line great update
