"We would never say that." Bette said.
"Oh no. How about when Jess told you that she was under too much pressure with school, softball and always having to help take care of the boys and angelica. She had to run away to get you guys to listen to her." Shannon said.
"Okay We are listening now." Bette said.
"I can’t make straight A’s and do everything else that I am doing. No matter how hard I try I get B’s and some A’s." Jess said.
"When have we ever put pressure on you to do anything other than your best. If A’s and B’s are your best then that is fine with us." Tina said.
"That’s my fault. I’m sorry Jess I have been putting too much on you because I want you to be the best. I will try not to do that anymore." Bette said.
"We only want the best for both of you. We don’t want you to be each other, just who you are. To ask anything else of you would be wrong." Tina said. She put her arms around Jess and hugged her.
"Now we have something to ask of you two." Bette said. Shannon and Jess looked at each other.
"We want you two to promise to have dinner with us one night a week. We thought we could handle not seeing you two all the time but we can’t." Tina said.
"I am not moving home." Jess said.
"We don’t want you to unless that is what you want." Bette said.
"We just want to see more of you. We miss you both. The boys and Angelica miss you too." Tina said.
"So will you guys do this for us?" Bette asked. Jess and Shannon were communicating silently between each other. Something they hadn’t done in years.
"Excuse us we need to discuss this before we can answer." Shannon said.
"Okay." Bette said a little surprised. Jess and Shannon got up and went into the kitchen.
They returned in about ten minutes.
"We have one condition, and it is a deal breaker." Jess said.
"Let’s hear it." Bette said.

now jess and shanon are getting along better its time for them to deal with their girlfriends. cant wait for the next post =)
Hey Charmed, What a wonderful way to bring the family back together. I can understand the petty envy that btoh Shannon and Jess felt but was happy that they could finally just talk about it and clear the air for once and for all. Nice to see Bette and Tina take the necessary step back and allow their daughters to sort things out. Hopefully the National tour will be a time to heal and rejoice. Bring it on. I am glad that Shannon and Jess are trying to work out their differences. I wonder if Bette will catch on that it is her they are fighting over. Of course Tina is right up there with Bette but Bette being the birth mother and all. Has Bette ever looked at Shannon a little different because of the circumstances of her birth? Thanks for the post.
Great chapter!! Jess is like a modern-day wonder woman. So, I’m not the brightest star when it comes to softball, so do jess and shannon still play for UCLA too?

They are like the modern day Cleavers…..lezzie style. It’s nice to see them all settle their differences. Jess is a bit sensitive and moody which is cool but she doesn’t back down when she thinks she is right which makes for an interesting story with drama. I love this story.
