Life with Mom and Tina Ch 93

    Previously:

"Okay then. I am so glad you are here. I missed you so much. I knew that you wouldn’t blow us off." Bette said putting her arm around Shannon and together they walked outside. Shannon was smiling and happy, yet the thing with Jess was still bothering her.

Jess walked into the big class she had with Bette late and sat in the back of the auditorium. Bette noticed that she wasn’t sitting in the her usual seat, but not that she came in late. Jess ducted out the back before the lights came on. She cut her other class that she had with Bette that week. She also wasn’t answering her cell when Bette called. By Friday Bette and Tina both were threatening to show up at the team house.

Jess was determined not to let them see her until the bruise was completely gone. She wasn’t going to make either of her mom’s mad a Shannon and it was apparent that Shannon had not come clean to Bette or Tina.

    National Team Meeting

Jess and the rest of the team sat around a large table. Jess had sunglasses on. Shannon sat on the opposite side of the table as Jess.

Cat along with the two other Coaches Shelly and Allison walked in the room. The team had just about divided down the middle over the past week half on Jess’s side and half on Shannon’s.

"Okay we called this meeting to get the bottom of whatever the hell has been going on with you all. Jess for the last time take off the sunglasses." Allison said. Jess did as she was told. Her eye was still very bruised.

"What the hell happened to you?" Cat said.

    "Nothing." Jess responded.

"The hell it didn’t." Allison said.

"Listen I wasn’t born yesterday. I know that everyone in this room knows some version of what happened to Jess’s eye. We aren’t leaving here to until we found out what happened." Shelly said.

One by one they were called into one of the coaches offices leaving Jess and Shannon alone in the room.

"Jess. Just tell them. I did it. I will leave with the consequences." Shannon said.

    3. Well it’s about damn time they come clean. Laurie is just like Tina. I could totally see Tina giving Bette the “If you don’t, I’m leaving” spiel.

    4. is nice to know that Jess and Shannon will try to fix this mess! thanks to laurie that put her finger in Jess! i hope B&T won’t get so angry with them. why they don’t compete for Tina’s attention they don’t lover as Bette or Tina try to put the same attention in both of them?

    5. Great chapter, just wished they would include Tina, Ifeel like Its only Bette’s attention, Tina is also there mother, Love this story, thanks for posting

    6. Glad to see they are finally talking about the rivalry and about the need to out-shine the other for Bette’s attenton. Its hard to open up but I hope they do and hope that it brings the family closer together.

    7. I’m so glad that you are back to posting everyday! The once a week thing was hard to get used to. I love the characters that you have created. Waiting patiently for the next!

    8. Wow, Shannon and Jess really do love each other. Both are fighting so hard to be seen and heard by their mother Bette. It is hard to grow up in the shadow of a sibling even if it is only in their own mind. I can’t wait to read how Bette and Tina react to what happened between their two oldest daughters.

    9. This is getting mighty intresting in all aspects. The sisters, Cat, Laurie, oh my. We do have a bit of intrigue going on. Can’t wait to see how it plays out.
