“I know it is a little big but I wanted you to be able to wear for a long time.” Bette said fastening the clip.

KNOCK KNOCK

“Come in” Kit said. Melvin walked in.

“Granddaddy.” Jess said running to him.

“They asked me to tell me that it is time.” He said.

“Oh okay” Bette said.

“Jess you it’s time for you to go downstairs with Tina.” Kit said.

“Okay.” Jess said. Jess walked out the door and down the stairs. She knocked on the Door to where Tina was getting ready.

“Come in” Hannah said. Jess opened the door and went in.

“Its time.” Jess said walking up to Tina. “You look beautiful.” Jess said to her.

“You too, sweetheart.” Tina said. The wedding planner appeared in the doorway.

“Okay its time everyone.” She said. Julie Hannah and Buster all left the room.

“Okay I just need one minute.” Tina said.

“Okay we will be waiting right out side.” She said.

“I wanted to talk to you before” Tina said sitting down on the stool next to the mirror.

“Okay” Jess said. Tina pulled her to her. She moved her dress so that Jess could sit next to her.

“I love you very much and that will never change. I promise. Even though things are going to change that fact won’t. Here. This is for you.” Tina said

“What is it?” Jess said.

“It is a locket with a picture of me and you and you and Bette. See.” Tina said opening the locket to show Jess the pictures.

“It is just like yours.” Jess said.

“It is.” Tina said.

“Thank you Mama, I love it.” Jess said. Tina fastened it around Jess’s neck.

“Okay I will tell her.” Julie said walking in the door. “Oh my goodness you two look beautiful sitting there together. Hold on don’t move let me get my camera.” Julie picked up her camera and took their picture. “All right even one is in there places all we need is y’all” Jess got up and walked to the door.

Jess stood in the hallway that led to the living room behind Hannah. The music started Hannah walked down the isle in a light purple dress. Once reached the front Jess walked down the isle slowly dropping pink and red rose petals as she walked. She stood in front of Hannah when she reached the front. Every one stood in the church when the Bridal chorus began to play. Bette stood at the front. Tina walked slowly down the isle. She tried to hold the tears back. She reached the front and took Bette’s hands.
