Previously:
“Babe did you decide if you wanted a turkey or ham for thanksgiving?” Tina asked getting out her list.
“I don’t care which ever you want.” Bette said.
“Is everyone coming over here for Thanksgiving?” Jess asked.
Alice and Shane walked in. Alice carried two glasses of wine. Mimi was in the kitchen with Tina. Jess was sitting in Bette’s lap. Ivy was flipping the channel trying to find a parade on the TV for Jess.
“Hey guys.” Alice said.
“Hey.” Ivy said.
“Shane I am glad you could make it.” Bette said.
“Mom can I please go over to Kelly’s tonight?” Jess begged.
“I already told you that we were going to spend the entire day together with our family.” Bette said.
“Who wants wine?” Alice asked from the kitchen.
“Me” Everyone but Bette said.
“Bette?” Alice asked.
“No thanks” Bette asked.
“What? Bette Porter turning down a glass of wine. I don’t believe it.” Alice said. “You’re not pregnant or anything are you?” Tina stopped chopping tomatoes for a moment and then started back. Bette didn’t answer. Jess was at the coffee table coloring.
“Oh my God you are aren’t you?” Alice said. This time getting the attention of everyone. There was a pause. Tina walked up beside Alice and took the bottle and the glass that she was holding.
“Yeah Alice we are.” Tina said.
“Congratulations.” Shane said.
“Thanks.” Bette said.
“Yeah congrats.” Ivy said giving Bette a hug. Mimi did the same with Tina.
“I don’t believe it. You guys made a life changing decision with out me.” Alice said feeling a little left out.
“Don’t worry Al they didn’t ask me either.” Jess said. Tina took a sip of her the glass of wine and put her arm around Alice. Everyone looked at Jess.
“Oh crap.” Tina said running over to the over boiling pot.
“So is it a boy or girl?” Shane said.
“We don’t know yet?” Bette said. Tina and Mimi were busy trying to finish dinner.
“Well what are you going to name it?” Alice asked. The doorbell rang. Alice answered it.
“Oh my God Kit.” She said giving her a hug.
“Hey Alice how are you?” Kit said coming in.
“I am great. We were just talking about your sister having a baby.” Alice said.
“What your pregnant and weren’t going to tell me.” Kit said hugging Bette.
“Here we go again” Jess said getting up and walking into her bedroom.
“Uh oh.” Kit said.
“Its all right she is still adjusting.” Bette said.
“Jess will you help me put the marshmallows on?” Tina asked.
“Okay.” Jess said. Tina sat her on the counter next to the casserole dish. Jess carefully began to add marshmallows.
“So Bette who gets the new room?” Ivy asked.
“Jess wants it.” Bette replied. “So we are going to let her pick every thing out with in reason.”
“Well when are you due?” Kit asked.

Holy crap. Jess is gonna freak out over twins. Alice should’ve been poked in the head for asking what the baby’s name would be after they said they didn’t know if it was a boy or girl. And Kelly reminds me of when I was a kid. I HATED music class, yet somehow I got a BA in music ed. lol

I feel for Jess, they should’ve included her in from the beginning. Now there is no doubt that trouble is on the horizon. Tina is trying, but Bette, I find her some what “cold” to her own daughter….is that just me????
