Life with Mom and Tina Ch 133
"The mess is fine." Tina said.
"Where are the kids?" Bette asked.
"Ian and Teddy are asleep in my bed. They didn’t make it through the movie, and I just put Angelica in her crib asleep." Jess said.
"Good." Bette said. Jess put the cups in the sink and turned to go back upstairs. She knew that her moms would be acting funny but they were almost being evasive.
Jess made it upstairs before she realized she forgot her book bag. She wanted to get some reading done. She headed back downstairs. She noticed that Bette and Tina were deep in conversation in their room. Jess sneaked by their door and into the living room. She grabbed her bag and headed back upstairs. Just as she passed their door Bette called her name.
"Yes Ma’am." Jess said.
"Come sit with us, please." Tina said. Jess walked in and sat on the bed next to Tina.
"I should have known you guys wanted to talk when you were acting so funny." Jess said.
"Well you know us better than anybody else." Tina said.
"Your paintings are amazing. Some of the best I have ever seen." Bette said.
"You’re biased." Jess said.
"True." Bette said.
"We know you didn’t want to talk about them but….." Tina said.
"But there is one that we were just stumped by." Bette said.
"I’m sure." Jess said.
"Will you tell us what it means?" Bette asked.
"Maybe." Jess said. Bette pulled the painting out of the closet and sat it on the vanity.
Tina immediately felt Jess tense up.
"What’s the matter?" She asked.
"Nothing. I’ve got a lot of reading to do." Jess standing up.
"Baby wait." Bette said hugging Jess.
"It’s okay whatever it is, it’s okay. We just want to know." Tina said.
"I can’t." Jess said. Tina could see tears growing in Jess’s eyes.
"I’ll put it up." Tina said. She put the painting back in the closet. Bette got Jess to sit down, who was becoming more and more upset as she relived the images in her head.
"Shh. It’s okay." Bette said. Bette and Tina had never seen Jess get this upset this quick.
"Jess its okay." Tina said.
Jess didn’t know how to react it hit her all at once. The fear she used to experience on a regular basis.
Bette wrapped her arms around Jess and held her close.

Fear on a regular basis…seems like Jess was worried her mom and mama would leave her like her dad did (death) and like she thought Anne did (when Bette and Jess moved to LA).
Yes I was wondering if she was B and T too….Being left alone is what she is afraid of…
Good chapter and I agree with Lamentamini and hope Jess will talk to Bette and Tina about it. Ok post soon please, thanks!
I’m with Lamentamini. Fear of being left with out anyone. Poor baby, Fear can eat you up thanks
Ummmm is that picture about her dad leaving and then Anne not being around. IMO she has the best momma ever and if Bette had stayed with Anne she would have never met Tina and had her brothers and sisters. If anybody should feel left out it should be Shannon. She lost so much of her family when she was living with her adopted family.
Beautiful as always Charmed =)
this is a great update and I have to agree with lamentamini about how jess was feeling when she did that painting please post soon
GREAT chapter, and I totally agree with Lamentamini. I hope that Jess can summon up the courage to talk to B&T about her fears. I was do happy in the last chapter when Tina told Jess that she will always be her Mama no matter what, and Jess said that she is glad that she has 2 little borthers and a baby sister. Ecellent job charmed :o)
Yeah I was thinking the tombstones were of Bette & Tina. Wow…this is deep. I know B&T can’t tell her that nothing will ever hppen to them but hopefully they can get her to be comforted in all that they have in a family and the love they all have for one another….and to embrace everyday they have with one another.
Yeah, I thonk that picture holds her both her moms. It tells her fears. Where would Jess be without her Mom & her Mama?!
At last the paintings are out…I agree with the thoughts on the painting…she doesn’t like to go back there where she was when she painted it so was it fear of losing B and T? mmmm interesting PPS
