Life with Mom and Tina Ch 133

Jess walked downstairs and pulled out a juice cup out of fridge and handed it to Angelica.

"What do you guys want to watch?" Jess asked the boys who were almost finished getting ready.

    "Casper." They both said.

    "Are you sure?" Jess asked.

"Yeah were sure." Ian said he was standing in front of the mirror combing his wet hair.

"Okay. Do you guys want some popcorn?" Jess asked.

"Yeah that would be great." Teddy said coming out of the room. He hair was wavy like Jess’s when it was wet. He wore it shaggy. Ian on the other hand had a short cut. "Can I help make it?" He asked.

"Yes will you get it out of the cabinet?" Jess asked.

"What can we have to drink?" A very neat looking Ian asked walking into the kitchen.

"What do you want?" Jess asked.

    "Coke." Teddy said.

"And have Mama and Mom kill me I don’t think so, but hey we’re having fun tonight so yes you can but only a little and in cups with lids." Jess said.

    "Yes." Teddy said.

    "I’ll get them." Ian said.

"Here is the popcorn." Teddy said handing Jess the microwave popcorn.

"Thank you." Jess said taking it from him. She popped the popcorn and helped the boys pour the soda.

"Are we sleeping upstairs?" Teddy asked.

    "Probably." Jess said.

"Cool. I am going to get my blanket and pillow." He said and went into his bedroom. Ian followed him. They returned with the blankets that Tina’s mom had made them for their birthday a couple years ago. The boys hadn’t slept with out them since.

"Okay boys get your cups I’ve got the popcorn and Angelica. Let’s go." Jess said. The four of them headed upstairs.

Bette and Tina stood in the Storage unit surrounded by Jess’s paintings and boxes of sketches and paintings.

"Jeez How long has she been storing this?" Bette asked.

"The date on this one is from five years ago." Tina said.

"They are all amazing. I don’t understand why she if afraid to show them." Bette said.

"I think she was just afraid to show them to us." Tina said.

    1. Fear on a regular basis…seems like Jess was worried her mom and mama would leave her like her dad did (death) and like she thought Anne did (when Bette and Jess moved to LA).

    2. Ummmm is that picture about her dad leaving and then Anne not being around. IMO she has the best momma ever and if Bette had stayed with Anne she would have never met Tina and had her brothers and sisters. If anybody should feel left out it should be Shannon. She lost so much of her family when she was living with her adopted family.

    3. GREAT chapter, and I totally agree with Lamentamini. I hope that Jess can summon up the courage to talk to B&T about her fears. I was do happy in the last chapter when Tina told Jess that she will always be her Mama no matter what, and Jess said that she is glad that she has 2 little borthers and a baby sister. Ecellent job charmed :o)

    4. Yeah I was thinking the tombstones were of Bette & Tina. Wow…this is deep. I know B&T can’t tell her that nothing will ever hppen to them but hopefully they can get her to be comforted in all that they have in a family and the love they all have for one another….and to embrace everyday they have with one another.

    5. At last the paintings are out…I agree with the thoughts on the painting…she doesn’t like to go back there where she was when she painted it so was it fear of losing B and T? mmmm interesting PPS
