“Good you found them.” Bette said.

“Hi Bette.” Buster said putting his hand out to Bette. Bette shook his hand and accepted a hug from Josie.

    Tina’s Land Rover

“I just can’t get over how much she has grown since this summer when you all visited us. She reminds me of you when you were that age and playing softball.” Josie said as the reached the car.

“Okay Mom I can’t take it more what is your news.” Tina said turning to Josie.

“Your father and I have decided to move the house at Little River.” Josie said putting her hand on Buster’s shoulder, who was in the front with Bette.

“Is that where we went when went to your house?” Jess asked.

    “Yes it is.” Josie said.

“I like it there, especially the tire swing.” Jess said. Tina smiled.

“That was my favorite thing to do there to.” Tina said.

“That’s great you guys have been talking about moving there for ages. What finally made you decide to do it?” Tina asked taking the Game Boy back away from Jess after she sneaked it out of Bette’s purse.

“Oh man.” Jess said leaning back hard and giving Tina her puppy dog face.

“Well all of our friends have made the move there and it seemed like the right time.” Josie said.

“I only went for the golf.” Buster said laughing. This made them all laugh but Jess who was trying to get her Game Boy back.

“No.” Tina said putting it in her purse and zipping it.

    “uhh.” Jess moaned.

“What is going on?” Bette asked.

“Nothing.” Tina and Jess said in unison. Josie laughed.

“I thought we would go to the house and unload and then go meet Melvin at the restaurant for dinner if that is all right?” Tina said.

“That sounds good. Maybe we can get a couple games in why I’m here.” Buster said. He had Melvin had really hit it off the last time they were LA for the engagement party.

“Your father has a one track mind.” Josie said.

“I glad you brought your clubs because I got you and Dad a tee time at 9 in the morning at the club.” Bette said.

    1. This is a sweet story and it’s so nice to read about a happy family, but I think you’re going too fast and leaving out things that would’ve been great to read about like their engagement party and their summer trip to Tina parents….but that is just me, I want it all LOL…..looking forward to the next post

    2. i am really happy for Tina she loves Jess very much. i like the interaction between families and the game boy it`s a funny topic. great chapter post soon.

    3. Great job, but I can’t believe that you let the Gameboy gag go. I really would liked for the judge to say “Now in regards to the Gameboy issue (looking at Jess), good try kid but no dice. I sorry to inform you that I have no juridiction over your Gameboy usage at the present time.” and everyone in the courtroom but Jess laughs. As Jess frowns, both B&T kiss and hugs her. Just my little dream, I love this story, please continue. :o)

    4. Gosh thatwas really beautiful and for the Judge to have one of Andy’s paintings and Jess recognized it,sealed the deal for the Judge. And like hansen and the others I want to read it all as well. You could probably tell it in flashback now thath the adoption has gone through. Tina thinking about all that led up to the adoption day in court. Thanks for the post.
