Life As We Know It – #402 – The L Word S4
“Mom…,” the mere mention of her sister always sent angry shivers up her spine. Sabrina had just disappeared into the night, leaving Tina with her mother. Months later, the psychiatrist had been diagnosed with MS.
Just then, Tina’s phone began to ring. Grimacing, she flipped the phone open. “Hello?”
“Tina, I’m sorry to bother you on vacation…,” began Bette.
“Hi Bette, that’s ok, is everything alright?”
“I have someone here who wants to say hello,” smiled Bette. Handing the phone over to Shane.
“Hey there, Tee,” said Shane.
“Shane!” Tina bellowed, jumping up from the chair. “Oh my god, you’re alive, you scared us half to death!”
“I know, I just wanted to say, hey. I lost my cell a few months ago, so I didn’t have your number,” explained Shane.
“Not like you’d have called,” countered Tina.
“I know, you can tear me a new one when you get home, can’t wait to see you,” said Shane.
“Me too, baby girl, me too,” the line went dead and Tina closed the phone. Pressing the phone to her chest, thinking that things might start to get back to normal sometime soon.
Life As We Know It
“I cannot believe she had the balls to say HI to me!” yelled Carmen. She slammed the keys of the car down on the counter, making Anna jump. Anna let her dark eyes was over Carmen. Her cousin had always been a hot head, Anna, on the other hand, had always been the cool customer. Calculating, quick thinking, easy to get along with, and deadly if you were on her bad side. Shane McCutcheon was definitely on her bad side.
Carmen had moved into Anna’s apartment a week after coming back from Whistler. Then Anna had begun to hang round with Carmen at The Planet, at Milk, wherever Carmen was, Anna was. The fourth year forensic student knew what had to be done, to catch your prey, you must study it.
“Breathe, Carmen, breathe…,” chided Anna. “You knew the woman was going to come back, eventually.”
“I hate her, I hate her soooo much…,” sobbed Carmen. Anna nodded, taking Carmen into her arms.
“You love her just as much,” reminded Anna.
“Stop reminding me,” shouted Carmen. “I’m sorry,” Carmen said after a few minutes.
“Le belle, ya are gonna hafta talk to her someday. Ya still hang with her friends,’ Anna said. “Ya been burned by Shane, now, maybe, it’s your turn to burn Shane.”

This is getting very interesting. Why do I get the feeling that Bree is Tina’s sister.
I have to agree with coop, it’s getting REALLY interesting . . . wonder if Carmen’s gonna actually talk to Shane or is she gonna’ take Anna up on her advise . . . guess I’ll just have to wait and see . . . but don’t make me wait too long . . . You authors with your freakin’ cliffhangers, lmao . . . post soon, LYLAS

Okay, enough with the mystery Bree. She is Tina’s long lost little sister, that’s why she is so familiar to Bette. The way she talks and the way she walks as described in the chapter says she is just a little younger version of Tina. Please get old Henry out of the picture so our girls can get back together. Thank you.
Like your writing, and crazy about cat.He like hid in the showders anf wham he got you. Bree is Tina sister that was why she was so familary to Bette. Glad Shane is back and Shane seen Carmen. Henry is such a bore.Like Tina mother, tina did start a new life without closing the door to her old life. Tina will do things her way and her way might not be the bestand she will lose out in the end. thanks
