    “In The Beginning” – Bette and Tina Chapters # 21, 22, 23

Danny is thinking.  “Katie how about I help you score a few extra bucks, and you help me get in to see a casting director.”

Tina is thrilled.  “Danny my friend, you’ve got yourself a deal.  Hey!   I was just thinking, I’ll write a screenplay and you can star in it.”

Danny is already thinking about his acceptance speech for his Academy Award!

Tina wants to make sure Danny lets her in on the deal with the man with the plastic. While she’s putting her tennis shoes on she asks,  “What time should I come back?  Today is Saturday so I’m free all day.”

Danny says. “I’m supposed to meet the guy in the Emergency Room parking lot at 4:00PM.  So I’ll meet you in the E.R. waiting room at 4:15PM.  Now I know you’re not an actress, but try to act like you’re waiting for a patient in the E.R waiting room okay?”

Tina is going to lay it on thick.  “Oh Danny you think of everything.  Thanks for taking care of me.  I’ll try and act like a concerned relative!”

(Danny smiles.) “Listen I’ve got to get back to work.  Katie I’m sorry you’re going to have to leave I’ve got to clean up in here.  As soon as I finish in here I’m off the clock.”

Tina gets up from the sofa and throws the pillow and blanket on the bed as she’s leaving.

Danny says,  “Hey Katie it was nice meeting you.  I think we’re going to have a lot of fun together.  Maybe I can even help you write your screenplay?  I’ll see you this afternoon.  Oh, and be careful leaving here don’t let the nurses suspect anything.  Just act like you belong.”   Tina smiles.  “See you in the E.R waiting room at 4:15PM.”

    ***CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO***

Tina is walking back to the ICU.  She decides to make a phone call first.  She goes out on to the patio across from Radiology to make her call.

Tina:  “Hi Mom, it’s Tina.  I’m sorry to wake you but I need your help again!”

    Mom:  “Honey what’s wrong?”

Tina:  “Someone tried to kill Bette again, and this time it was in the hospital!  They don’t seem to be able to protect us.  They have Bette in ICU for now.   Mom would it be possible for Bette and me to stay at your condo on Wilshire Blvd. for a few days.  I think we would be safer at your place, because you have a door man and nobody can get in the elevator without a password and a passkey.”

    1. I just love this story. Tina the secret agent is just too cute and the reference to Randy Dean was hilarious. I feel sorry for poor Bette and I hope Tina remembers that Bette wasn’t herself when she finds out what she did with those women. I have faith her love is strong enough for Bette to see her through this difficult time. You have a fantastic imagination and PPVS! Thanks

    2. TJ should warn Tina that she may hear some things that are going to shock and alarm her about Bette, but the only reason she was doing them was because of the brain washing. She knows Bette loves her and I hope she is strong enough to handle the tuff stuff. I hope we get some info on the villians soon it’s driving me crazy wondering why all this is happening to Bette.

    3. I just wish that Tina remembers that Bette wasn’t her usual self when she did the things she did, poor Bette I don’t know how can she live with this. It’s an interesting adventure and I am looking forward to what is coming next, post soon dear and thanks for writing this wonderful story
